Another question that I think I know the answer to but want to double check. With Clairvoyance the caster is still using his normal perception(vision) just shifting his point of view to diffrent locations within range of the spell. With the extended version the range that the caster can move his viewpoint to increases, it does not increase the casters perception(vision) area, right?
