Danny enters the warehouse without fanfare, having instructed his Watchers beforehand to alert him at the first sign of Astral intrusion.
He nods to Warpath standing off to the side, then his face lights up in a smile at Jessie's greeting, and he heads straight towards her, his hand extended.
"It be mighty good seein' y'all here. I've got a strange feelin' 'bout this job, 'n' yer presence is somethin' of a reassurance."
Danny listens as the rest of the group introduces themselves, nodding briefly at each in turn.
"Y'all can jus' call me Danny. Mah speciality's healin', an' Ah'm a follower of Leopard."
Having been forewarned before entering about Ghost Dragon's presence, Danny is not surprised when the mage reveals himself. He gauges the others' reactions to the sudden arrival, silently agreeing with Ohanzee's comment.
After the Johnson arrives, the Shaman remains silent and observes the interchange between the German elf and the runners, his face reflecting his disapproval of the job offer.

Ghost Dragon addresses Ohanzee's comment by saying with a slight smirk, "I do not expect you to trust me. If you live your life in the shadows, you live on paranoia." The interlude is interrupted by the screeching tires.

Ghost Dragon takes off his sunglasses and begins speaking to the Mr. Johnston before him.
"Greeting, 'Mr. Johnston'." He bows a little before he continues, "I will accept the job. I must know what kind of security surrounds this 'asset' that you are concerned with. What is his location? Who - and what - is his bodyguard? Have you any background information on the bodyguard? What type of security is in place and what is its nature? Have you sent any scouts or spy drones? Can you speculate on what we can expect for security and opposition if you have not scouted to confirm it? Please answer, in no particular order."

To Ghost Dragon's reply he only responds with a slight nod, neither showing aproval nor disaproval but rather a mere confirmation that he heard what the mage said.
As the Johnson accepts his demand, Ohanzee says to him, with unchanged behaviour (while hiding his satisfaction Now that wasn't too hard):
"Good. Now that we have the basics established, let us talk about details. What is the timeframe of the operation? What do you know about our opposition and on-site security and about the bodyguard in general? Are we bound to a special modus operandi?"

The Johnson looks as if he is getting upset, "time frame? Didn't you hear me the first time I said 'this weekend'? I don't care what you do to get him out, just do it. If you have to burn down half the city I don't really care."
He pulls out a small envelope and drops it on the ground, you get the feeling he would rather not touch anyone to hand it to them.
"This has all the details of the meeting including the drop once you have gotten the target extracted. You have until Monday night to finish the job, I don't hear from you buy midnight and the deals off. Mein gott," he says and turns to leave. You hear his door shut, the engine start and the car pull away. Silence settles over the warehouse, the white envelope lays fluttering in the slight breeze.

To Ardens advice Ohanzee replies: "He thought himself superior to us. It was all a masquerade. I don't think he has much experience, dealing with the likes of us. He was easy to throw off guard and lost controll quickly. A weak person he is. They say a barking dog doesn't bite and he barked a lot and loudly. He seems to rely on us almost more than we do on him or he wouldn't have accepted my demands. I don't think we have too much to fear off him. However, the final handover of the extraction target will get risky, for we are of no more value to him then. He might try a revenge. We need to be careful then. If he is smart he will not attempt to do this, since he has a reputation to lose and Zoe has great influence in the Shadows. However, if he is indeed working for Saeder Krupp, as is to be suspected, he doesn't have much to lose in Seattle."
At the start of the quarel Ohanzee throws a dark look into the direction of the two, without doing anything to intervene though.
As everybody is getting ready to leave he states:
"I have my own means of transportation. I take it we are not going to get started right away, so I will not take my working-equipment with me, unless the general concensus is different."
After that, he will put on close-fitting sunglasses as a protection against the wind and the rain spraying up from te streats, mount his Suzuki Aurora and head to the bar through the traffic of an the awakening city.

@ Everyone,
The rain outside has dissipated, never truly getting a foothold on the city. The dark clouds over head promise a different kind of Precipitation, snow. Small white flakes drift down from the sky by the time the team arrives at the bar. Slow and steady, it looks like the snow will soon become a full on flurry.

The front street bar located on the south end of the Alaska way viaduct is tucked in quietly between a cold weather sports shop, and a theater. The small two stroy building that houses all three complexes rests over the watter of the Puget Sound. The far end of the bar is one large window, allowing a magnificent view of the sound, and the far away islands. The snow falling outside just adds to the view. Grey clouds completely block out the sun, casting a dark shadow on everything.
Only a few patrons are here as breakfast has just begun. A sign on the wall proclaims "worlds best steak and eggs." The smell from the kitchen tends to back up the argument.

Taking a short detour back to the garage,
Arden hefts the other one of the twins into the back of the GMC, and the armed roto-drone into the trunk of an Americar, he takes to the road again at the head of a small convoy.
Making sure to keep well inside the safe speed for the cruddy conditions, he makes his way to the bar. Glaring out the window,
Arden remembers the last time he got stuck out in this kind of crap.
Hurtling across the back end of nowhere, the squadies in the back kept looking forward to the armored cockpit whenever they heard the rap of branches against the bottom of the fast moving chopper. Safely ensconed behind crash webbing and a SOTA rocker mount, Arden had more important things on his mind; mainly staying within 10 meters of the ground while keeping from slamming into any of the rocks jutting out of the anemic looking forest."Frag I miss the old days sometimes..." he mutters aloud to nobody in particular as he pulls into the parking lot of the bar. Spreading the three vehicles into open spots in the lot, he makes sure all the sensors and recorders are up and running before heading inside. Looking around to find himself the last in, he walks up to the bartender.
"Hi, I'm looking for

Finally arriving at the bar he parks his bike in the driest free position available (close to the house?) and walks in. Judging from the cars on th eparking place he concludes that Arden has already arrived.
Inside he patts the snow of his coat and walks over to the bar in measured steps. When the barman gives him a questioning look he says:
"I'm here to see Jessie. And if you could be so kind to make me a cup of tea... Darjeeling if you have, Earl Grey if not. Without sugar or milk, please."
When he gets the tea he thanks and walks to the room designated by the barkeeper, taking a seat next to Arden.

Mostly ready for work, Warpath cruises the area for a while before parking in the parking lot of a close business with a couple of other empty cars present. He rumages through his kit, determining if everything is there, but comes up short a few items. Deciding to risk it, he swings by the flat in Tacoma and parks in the underground garage.
Arming the security system, he makes his way as stealthily as possible up the stairs to his apartment and checks the door for tampering before opening it. Inside, there isn't much of use, but he does gather up a small pile of grenades and the assault rifle he had left behind in his haste to vacate. Placing it all amid the rest of the clothing from his closet in two large bags he lugs the lot down to the Brumby and piles it inside.
That done, he pulls out of the lot, fully intending not to come back here again, ever.
He wastes some time in another parking lot and finally pulls into the parking lot of Ingersoll Bar and Grill and makes his way inside. He notes the sign and the barman. "I'm here to see Jessie... and I want an order of steak and eggs," he adds as his stomach rumbles. "An' an Old Dunkie to go with it. Lite if you've got it."

Jessie gives Danny a smile, “Lets get movin’ then.”
She drives directly to the bar, taking all the shortcuts that she knows to make sure she’s the first on to get there. Conversation with Danny is light and friendly and to the shaman it feels like they are old friends, even those they met just a short time ago. When she pulls up to the bar and sees the snow start to fall, she lets out a curse, “From one storm and into another. Ugh!”
Stepping into the bar, she gives the bartender a wink, “Hoi Joey, how’s biz been treatin’ ya? You mind letting me use the room for a bit? And how ‘bout some breakfast for my friend and I, make it the usual.”
She leaves a hundred nuyen bill on the bar for Joey and leads Danny to the back room. The room is simple and plain, there is a large dining room table in its center, which is surrounded by chairs that look fairly comfortable. Jessie tosses her pack down at the head of the table, opens it up and digs out a few devices. She gives the room a sweep with the bug scanner and then places a white noise generator in the center of the table, “Can’t ever be too sure.”
There is a knock at the door and Jessie goes over to open it up. A waitress brings in a tray with two plates of steak and eggs, along with two large cups of coffee. “Thanks hun, I’ll take it from here. We’re gunna be expecting some guests, so go ahead and send them in as they arrive.”
Jessie sets the tray down on the table, placing one of the plates at her seat, and the other next to her. Looking up to Danny, she says, “This place is one of the best joints around. They actually get real food. You have to pay for it, but its worth it. Enjoy!”
She then takes a seat herself and digs in, waiting for the others to arrive.

@ Ohanzee,
Shortly after you arrive at the meeting your head phone interrupts you. An electronic voice enters your mind, you start to reply and realize it is just a recording.
"Hey Omae," says the familiar voice of Lightning, good news. I was doing some research on your problem and I think I may have the answer. There is a clinic in CalFree that is doing research on people who are quadriplegic, and don't fit under the category 2 restrictions most do, I think Molly might get in. It's 100k fee to enter, but after that is is just letting them do their thing. I sent a message of enquiry to them, wee should hear back on Monday. The clinics name is LifeOne. Ohanzee nods a universal nod of greet into the round as he is one of the last to arrive, which is not a surprising fact considering that he didn't rush through the nasty weather.
He tries his best to hide his disgust for the cigarete smoke but can't help it to let slide a little frown, which, however, can only be noticed by people observing him closely.
As he sits down with his tea he tries to position himself in such a way that the scent of the herbs is canceling out some of the stench.
audiofilters are fine and dandy btu I really should have gotten a olfactory filter, back in the days
Those who closely observe Ohanzee can see his eyes sliding out of focus as the call comes in. All of a sudden he is deeply in thought, a blank expression on his face. If anybody is speaking to him while the call comes in and about half a minute after that he will not hear it and react only to physical contact or if somebody adresses him repeatedly and loudly.
Even after that he will be slightly distracted and zone out of the conversation every now and then.
In his mind he is going through some calculations, aided by his math SPU:
100k to enter. This job is getting me netting me 7500. I have about twice that amount on my account... How in the name of the spirits am I going to get so much money? I could sell the bike... but that'll give me only 10k if I get a good price. Maybe Frank or Jack could give me a loan... I need to talk to Lightning about when the money's due and what can be done... I just have to hope that I will get a few well paying assignments in the next weeks.
I have been trying to save money ever since that accident to pay for this operation and still I'm not even close to paying that.

"I have the ability to summon spirits, even though my true talent is sorcery. I only have enough materials at home to summon a level 3 spirit, though that could easily be remedied by a stop at the local magic shop on my way home. I prefer to use my own circle. It is familiar to me, and it is large enough to summon any spirit we would ever need, even up to a level 10, although that would be beyond my skills. An air elemental could be in this type of weather for concealing our tracks in the snow, should we leave any, by causing the snow to blow over our tracks. A nature spirit might do a better job.

“Alright people, here you have it. Now, the map isn’t a very good one, so I took the liberty of getting these…”
Jessie presses a button on her pocket secretary and three more windows open up. The first is a map of the surrounding 10 miles around the target area. The second is a map of the target area and the surrounding mile, giving a lot more detail. The third window is a copy of the blueprints of the building, and the fourth are details of the surrounding area’s sewer system.
Jessie smiles as says, “I hope you like these, because they are going to cost you all 65 nuyen each. These things don’t come for free. Sorry for not checking with you all ahead of time about getting the maps, I just thought it best to get on top of things as soon as possible, due to our time constraint. However, I think we’re gunna need more information that just this. With your permission, I’d like to get in touch with a few people and have them look into things for me. I need some questions answered. I’m gunna dig for the following questions:
Who is Kyle Morgan?
What is his background?
What are his connections to Novatech, and what would S-K want with him?
Who is his bodyguard?
What connections does he have to Novatech and S-K?
Who is our Johnson?
What are his connections to Novatech and S-K?
What kind of connections does he have?
What has he been up to lately?
What room is Kyle staying in target location?
What is security like in his building?
When do shift changes happen?
Is security in-house or third party?
If its third party, what company do they use?
What kind of Magical protection do they have?
What about cleaning crew?
Is it in-house, or third party?
If its third party, who do they use?
If any of you can think of some more to ask, let me know.
Also, do you guys think it would be a good idea for us to hire a Decker to be on-call for us? Maybe even bring him into the team for an equal cut?
What do you guys think?”
With that, Jessie leans back in her chair and takes a long drag off her cigarette and exhales slowly. Her gaze glances around the room, waiting for someone to speak up.

Waking from the haze surrounding his thoughts for a short while Ohanzee slowly enters the discussion:
"I know a very decent decker, however, I have to check whether she is available for things like overwatch. However, she will most likely be able to do some research for us. As for some of yor questions: the Johnson's data package was a little slim but it did state that the compound contracts for all its services. So security and cleaning will be third-party as well as maintenance, most likely. We just have to find out which companies the haave contracted."

[ Arden ]
"Maybe I'm being my usual self or something, but aren't those first couple of questions sort of extraneous? I mean..." at this he holds up his fingers and begins ticking points off. "One: do we really care? Two: he seems to be working on lasers, and wants out. And three: he works for Novatech, and wants to work for someone else."
"Looking into the bodyguard is a pro idea, seeing as he's probably gonna be like glue on our boy. The sec questions are fair... but I think at least a couple of them on on that screen now."
"I'm just sorta worried about guard Jimmy's best friends-second cousins-third uncle telling him 'Somebody is gonna hit the place.'"
Having said his piece, Arden will walk over to the projection and get a better look of the area surrounding the target building.

Sink nods his agreement to the question and adds "I'd like ta find out what caused NT to suddenly raise security round dis guy. I don't buy da Johnson's story dat its a coincidence caused by the project nearing completion." He paused to take a sip of coffee and continued. " I'd also like ta know what off site backup da securiy forces can call on in a pinch and their response time. It would also be nice ta know who lives in the aprtments nearby. Mebbe we could get in via one of the other slags that live there." He grins and adds " Plus it'd be a shame to find out the hard way that the building is home to a bunch of off duty secruity personnel..."
