seems lego have started putting AR displays in some toy stores worldwide.

im sure its not that many years since i first head about these AR systems.

now to make them handheld and wearable wink.gif

Apologies for the source, I remembered this from mentions on another discussion board and that was the only success I got off my Data Search roll.

it may not even need rfid. the camera looks to be stereoscopic. so if it can id the box based on its artwork, the orientation should be "simple"...

^^For that matter, I would think you could put certain symbols on the box for the camera to read, a reflective tag or sticker in the right place; or, use IR ink and the buyer would be unaware of them, but then you'd have to add an IR camera in addition to the regular. Still... doable.
