The thought of destroying lucien was a bit more bothersome then it should. Kane always knew he was something else though. This sent his mind reeling with questions.

Kane still had trouble understanding Nathaniel's purpose for him. As far as he always thought, Nathaniel loathed him. Everything he did. The only thing he ever did for Nathaniel was save him from being dropped a few hundred feet by the Jersey Devil. Whats the big deal? Why had he saved him? Why didn't he just let Jacob Sinner die?
That was when it hit him. He did let Jacob Sinner die. And with his power molded him into Nathaniel's image. Nathaniel was playing God. And, damn it.....he was good at it.

Hours pass, eventually someone brings Kane a new commlink. Brand new off the line Transys Avalon, loaded with a Novatech Navi OS and loaded with Black IC. The icon is still available for customization.

On the commlink is the "address" fora private runway, as well as the ocmm number for the limo driver waiting out side.

Without a second geuss, kane leaves for the hangar.

The plane is a sleek Leer-Platinum II. There are no markings to hsow ownership, only the number along the sides. When the limo rolls up, the stewardess, an attractive young elven woman who has likely had work done, is waiting at the steps, as the plane powers up. The chauffer gets Kane's door.

Kane steps out. Giving the driver a look up and down. Then goes towards the plane. Once arriving at the steps he glances up at the stuartist. Then walks up the steps glancing at the woman as he passes her. Giving a smile and a wink.

She smiles back politely, although he can see a bit of timid fear behind her eyes. She looks like the type of woman that would normally take him up on the offer immediately, especailly if she's in Nathaniel's employ. Probably fitted with a data filter as well. When the thought occurs to Kane, he can see tiny bits of cyber in her aura. Likely he's correct. It's plain to see that her aura is reacting to his mroe aggressive, predatory aura as he moves passed her.

The plane's interior is done in marbled black leather, making it look very posh. On one of the seats is a garment bag, containing a few suits, and other outfits, including one with black leather pants, all in Kane's size.

Kane quickly relises that he isnt masking himself. He does so...fast, before he freaks out any more hot stuartists.
He sees the suits and moves them aside for now. He'll change when he lands.
Kane notices he getting excited. He hadnt been to New Orleans in some time. It would be interesting to see it through new eyes.

The stewardess closes the steps, surpisingly more relaxed. She seems to have already forgotten her anxiety, although it was only moments ago. The captain starts taxiing the plane from the hanger. Apparently Kane is in a hurry.

The stewardess secures the door, then Kane's new belongings. Is there anything I can get you my lord? A drink perhaps? Her accent speaks of one of the few people that speaks sperethial regularly. Obviosuly, this one is from the Tir. Probably an expensive mod, to make her speak such a difficult language on a regular basis.

Lord? I can get used to that.
Sin examines the elven woman shortly.
There is a few things. We'll start with some Rum, then see where it takes us, eh?

She quickly and expertly pours a double rum, and arranges his garment bag in one of the closets so that the clothes within wont' get wrinkled.

The flight is only a few hours long, and rather enjoyably. Kane is treated as some sort of elven dignitary by the stewardess, who seems to be undre the impression taht flirting and innuendo are part of her job. For that matter, it probably is.

Landing in New Orleans brings back a rush of memories as soon as Kane tastes the air again. It's approxiametly 10 in the morning, meaning the world is just starting to warm up. It's not quite the Home Coming he may have expeted. There's an odd sense of detachment as he looks around the place he called home for the last few years. To many ties have beeb broken to really belong here anymore.

Saying goodbye to the elven woman Kane steps off the plane. He breathes the air, and almost gags remembering where he is.
Theres that old feeling. I havent felt like I belonged before I came here. And here I am once more, and Outsider.


Kane heads towards a hotel, just a place to put his things and have some privacy.

Hotels are certainly not hard to find. It takes Kane a minute to rmember that he has a line of credit linked to the commlink when the automated desk "Assistant" asks. A simple hotel room to base out of , and a palce to return to once he has a full 'stamach'. The thought makes him hungry.

Kane licks his lips.
I suppose I can stop by a "few" stomping grounds. Head towards the nearest club.

The Roxanne is alive and well, and charging $600 for an entrance fee. The red exterior is as a blatant-whore color as a simple building can manage. Kane can almost taste the wild emotions inside.

Rubbing his chin Kane looks around.

I wonder what I did when that foolish spirit tried to control me.

Look for a table filled with volumptious, well built, women.

Inside, the Roxanne looks like more of a gnetleman's club. The tables and chairs all have men sitting at them, although there is a smal but tasteful stage show. An escort, a curvy ork woman, shows him to a comfortable leather chair with a good view. She holds out a small data pad.
A simple quesionare sir. Everything from hair type to preferrred postions and age. Be honest, and we'll make sure your desires are fulfilled. She gives him a wink and walks away smiling.

Kane gives a fake smile and shudders once the orc woman is gone.
Those tusks have GOT to hurt. Ill be sure specify elven and human woman only....alright lets see what we got....Dark hair, light skin....asian women are a plus....
Just as Kane is about to specify positions when he relizes the woman he just described.
Once he snaps back into reality he looks for the nearest patronesse.
Excuse me miss, I just remembered I have to be somewhere. Im terribly sorry to have wasted your time.
Kane slips her 200:nuyen: and quickly heads for the door.

The night air outside is warm and palpable, much different than the air in Seattle. It's alive to the spirit's astral senses, filling his being with the city's energies.

Alright Sinner, enough fuckin around. Lets just go capture this guy and get out of here.

Kane thinks a moment. He needed a place to feed. Discreetly.

Nathaniel said my way was messier than his. So Ive got to find a place with lots of people....and not alot of attention.....

Kane thought for a moment until he notices a bum sitting across the street.

Ofcourse! A squatter house! Who gives a damn about some worthless bums?

Kane begins to search the city for a "slum" area and finds a decent size squatter house. Hes not lookin to start a massacare, but he is looking to be damn strong for a while.

Off in the fringes, it doens't take Kane long to find what he is looking for. He's been through the darker edge sof the Crescent city more times than he can count anyway, so there's little new to this particular hunt, excpet the end result.

In the end, he finds a dirty cargo container used for overflow of goods by a warehouse. It's sctratched and painted red sides show that it hasn't been used for it's "official" purpose for quite a while. Since the warehouse is still in more or less 'good' repair, they're likely cheap labor for the warehouse foreman, given "free rooms" and crap pay in exchange for manual labor. There are five people inside, a humans, three orks, and an elf, varying in age range. It's hard to tell genders beneath the rags, although the occassional beard helps.

Alright, lets give this feeding thing a try.

Kane focus's on his thirst. Its going wild now. Hes never felt anything like it.

All at once, he feeds off of all five beings in the room.
