Mountaincarver> The early runner gets the paydata... :)
[Stephen.McQuillan] I showed up and immediately AFK'd
Ancient_History> Or the Black IC, whichever comes first.
Mountaincarver> Too true, Anc. :
Ancient_History> If nothing else, today's chat should be...interesting.
Mountaincarver> I've missed the last few 'cause of silly RL issues.
Mountaincarver> I'm glad to be here. Hooray!
Ancient_History> Heh. Since the chat is going to be in character, if you have any out-of-character questions to ask, try to do it before or after.
Mountaincarver> My one and only OOC question is when is the durn streetdate for SR4A. I needs it for gamins... :)
[Stephen.McQuillan] Soft copy is out now...dead tree..."Some time soon"
Ancient_History> When we have an actual street date, we'll deliver it. We don't like to guess and miss. Annoys the fans.
[Stephen.McQuillan] Note this is not an official response
Mountaincarver> I suppose I'll have to accept it. But it will >please< be before July? I have a con to attend then and I'm running the good stuff. :)
[Stephen.McQuillan] If Twitter can be trusted, it's been sent to the printer. So now we just have to wait for the printer to finish their part and the distribution lines to start cranking
Mountaincarver> Hooray!
Ancient_History> Yay for twitter!
[Stephen.McQuillan] what that means in days and weeks, I'm not sure
Mountaincarver> <---- is gleeful of all that is happy and... um.... happy!
Ancient_History> Printers are strange and finicky creatures, but we've had luck with the last couple.
Ancient_History> Unlike some of the earlier releases.
Mountaincarver> Heh, I've had my own issues with printers in the last two weeks. Darn HP and thier 'outsources customer service' !!! Release the hounds!
Ancient_History> Hellhounds, barghests, gabriel hounds...be specific!
>> Barbarossa has joined room #Shadowrunchat
Mountaincarver> Hmmm... I like the Hellhounds, please, with a side of destruction and mayhem with extra mustard and ketchup.
Ancient_History> Any comments on recent books? Requests? Dislikes? People you'd like to see fall out of a space shuttle?
Mountaincarver> Space shuttle, eh? You mean in the SR 'verse or RL?
Ancient_History> Figure of speech, figure of speech...
[Stephen.McQuillan] Just take off their jacket first.
Mountaincarver> Requests? Hm.... How about a neato PDF of all the "Tweaking of the Rules" so that a poor old GM like me can have them all in one spot, checked off and ready for the 'Greatest run ever'?
Ancient_History> Heh. I'll pass it along to Those Who Sit Above In Shadow.
Mountaincarver> Oh! Oh! And another neato PDF with all the neato charts and stuff from all the core books for ease of reference?
Ancient_History> You might have to wait for the gm screen on that one.
Mountaincarver> Hmm... but will it have >all< the neato handy dandy charts? That is the question. :)
Mountaincarver> Otherwise, I'm good to go.
Ancient_History> At the very least, it'll have the bulk of them.
Ancient_History> It won't be the HackMaster GM screen or anything.
[Stephen.McQuillan] Mountain--If you have the PDFs, you can cut and paste the text out of the sections. CGL's files are fully enabled
Mountaincarver> Hmm... something to think about. I guess I'm just looking for a good excuse to throw money at SR developers. :)
>> AdamJury has joined room #Shadowrunchat
Ancient_History> No one wants to talk now that Teacher is in the room, eh?
Mountaincarver> Heh. I just ran out of things to say for the moment... and distracted by Transformers wiki
Ancient_History> Indeed. Many strange things are to be found in the depths of wikis.
Mountaincarver> I love them. They pass the time... Ooooh! Unicron!
Ancient_History> The all-energy sibling to Unicron was jumping the shark.
Ancient_History> Has anyone here ever read Switchblade Honey by Warren Ellis?
Mountaincarver> No, but I met Jim Butcher last week of Dresden Files fame. :)
Ancient_History> I met Mike Resnick on Thursday. But we're talking about Switchblade Honey.
Mountaincarver> Ooh, foiled again. :)
Ancient_History> Its an okay one-shot thin graphic novel - but the introduction is priceless.
Mountaincarver> I'll have to check it out.
Barbarossa> Mhm...One request. I would love something like a Event table for the barrens or other areas of locations from runner haven feral cities or corporate enclaves. Is something like this planned?
Ancient_History> No. T'be honest, random encounters is a primitive RPG thing. We do have adventure seeds and the like.
Ancient_History> But somehow I don't think a Big Book o' Adventure Seeds would sell, even as a PDF.
AdamJury> Barbarossa: You may want to check out Sprawl Sites, which is available as a PDF for about six bucks or so. It has a lot of mini-encounters grouped into categories like "Gang", "Celebrity", "Corp", etc.
Barbarossa> will check it out
AdamJury> It's a SR1 book, but most of it is quite translatable/usable for inspiration.
Ancient_History> Blast you Adam and your insufferable habit of being cooler and more correct! <shakes_little_fist>
>> Phinegan has joined room #Shadowrunchat
Mountaincarver> <chuckle>
>> Casper has joined room #Shadowrunchat
AdamJury> Sprawl Sites was one of my faves. I devoured that book when I first discovered it. :-)
Ancient_History> So did I, but that's because it was my first actual SR book.
Ancient_History> I ran three groups through every encounter in that book.
Mountaincarver> Now that's awesome.
Casper> That one was first of second ed.
Casper> or
Mountaincarver> The only 1st ed book I have is Universal Brotherhood.
>> Red_Anya has joined room #Shadowrunchat
Ancient_History> Shadowrun really has gone far and away from random tables in general, though.
Ancient_History> DNA/DOA reads like Dave Arneson trying to do Shadowrun, only without the elaborately arcane traps.
Mountaincarver> RIP Dave Arneson....
Ancient_History> All props.
Mountaincarver> His funeral is Tuesday. I might attend with some friends.
Ancient_History> Speaking of which, yesterday night in tribute to John Madden retiring I watched the Replacements again. One of Keanu Reeves' best movies.

Ancient_History> "Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory...lasts forever."
[Stephen.McQuillan] "Iron Maiden, Excellent!" *Riffs on air guitar*
Ancient_History> Don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but if anybody remembers that Irish postpunk bar in Chicago from Feral Cities, the name is a reference to the Pogues. I'm an unabashed fan.
Mountaincarver> Heh, are there any more 'easter eggs' strewn throughout the sourcebooks?
[Stephen.McQuillan] well played Bobby
Ancient_History> Hell, yes.
[Stephen.McQuillan] Mountain--I'm confident there are A LOT more
Ancient_History> My Ghost, I put in more strange stuff...okay, still on Feral Cities Chicago. Cenotaph? That's a direct allusion to a character from the Prime Runners sourcebook - but the local is the CGL office in Chicago.
[Stephen.McQuillan] Some of the ones I've seen mentioned are in the Hong Kong section of Runner Havens
Ancient_History> Yeah, Jay loves his Firefly and Big Trouble in Little China
Mountaincarver> Heh, cool.
[Stephen.McQuillan] Same book, different section a handful of movie/tv references
>> Prime_Mover has joined room #Shadowrunchat
[Stephen.McQuillan] Missions are full of them, especially if you read the scene titles
Mountaincarver> Cool. Thanks for the tip.

[Stephen.McQuillan] Sadly, John shot down my one chance to introduce Dance Fighting
Mountaincarver> Dance Fighting?
Ancient_History> We came very close to using Tolkein references as derogatory names for dwarfs.
[Stephen.McQuillan] Think West Side Story
Mountaincarver> I love that movie!
Tarot> Any word on the new SR novels?
[Stephen.McQuillan] Kitten.
Tarot> har har
[Stephen.McQuillan] That sums my entire knowledge of the novels...more words will need to come from Adam or TPTB
>> Laughing_Man has joined room #Shadowrunchat

Ancient_History> It's always interesting what doesn't make it into the sourcebooks.
Tarot> to AH
Mountaincarver> What's one peice of coolness you wanted to add to the SR 'verse but couldn't?
Ancient_History> One of the original ideas for Augmentation (shot down fairly early) was an implant that kept the user constantly affected with Deepweed.
Tarot> correction to AH: Nice
Ancient_History> That was just a general comment - Tarot, the official chat hasn't started yet, we're not in moderation yet, talk normal!
Mountaincarver> Cool. Any other ideas that were cut?
Ancient_History> Blood Legacy items.
[Stephen.McQuillan] Dance Fighting, and fire-bombing the Hub
Mountaincarver> Oooh... Blood Legacy items? That sounds... gooey.
Tarot> Any plans to release rules for the ork fighting style I heard rumor of back before arsenal was released
Ancient_History> Basically, imagine that there are these magical items that can only be used by members of certain families or bloodlines - and a corporation or the Draco Foundation digs them up! Do they go on a hunt for the heirs of what might be an extinct bloodline? Hell no. They dig up the corpses of the family and extract mitochondrial RNA out of them, then work it into a gene treatment so that a magician with the right treatment can bond and use the magical item.
Ancient_History> It's complicated and wiggy and I know why it didn't quite pass muster.
Mountaincarver> I love it!
Mountaincarver> It is now in my personal canon. :)
Tarot> I could get behind that
[Stephen.McQuillan] Was that blended into Unique Enchantments?
Ancient_History> Not really. More of an outgrowth of Aspected Enchantments.
Ancient_History> The MagicEye implant is something I still have a bit of hope for - basically a single-shot astral camera installed in a cybereye.
Mountaincarver> Any chance of these random ideas could emerge in a teeny PDF or somesuch?

CaineHazen> Morning kids
[Stephen.McQuillan] Hey Caine, Hey John!
Tarot> How would that work? Aren't astral cameras too big to be incorporated into an eye?
Ancient_History> No promises, but our ebooks are pretty fun and adaptable - Digital Grimoire for example had plenty of items that were cut from Street Magic for space.
JohnDunn> Howdy
Ancient_History> Tarot: that's why it's only a one-shot.
Ancient_History> And range might be limited as well, but resolution should be fine.
Tarot> Ah
CaineHazen> soundslike AH is already in the crazy talk this morn
CaineHazen> and Howdy Stephen!
Ancient_History> Oh, I got plenty of crazy.

JohnDunn> Hello everyone, and welcome to the April 209 Shadowrun Chat.
JohnDunn> We're currently under moderation, and setting up a bit of bookkeeping for our guest Shadowtalkers today.
JohnDunn> Before we get to that part of the chat, we've got a little bit of information from the Shadowrun Missions writing team.
JohnDunn> Hey folks, this last month has been a busy one for the Missions team. We have SRM 03-01 Ready, Set, Gogh on final approach.
JohnDunn> "By 2070, life literally imitates art. Some people have a fetish for it and it's your job to see that it's delivered and still breathing." If you and your team are up for the challenge, take a look at the most recent Missions release for New York.
JohnDunn> Beyond editing and laying out 3-01, we have also re-tooled the Missions FAQ. It's now twice as long, addresses a dozen new questions that have come up, and is fully compatible with the new Missions campaign.
JohnDunn> Both of these updates will be released this week, so keep your eyes open. Also, check out the GenCon 2009 schedule to get a preview for what else the Missions team is working on.
JohnDunn> Any quick questions on Shadowrun Missions?
Doubledecker: what will be your next stop (ie location of next series)?
JohnDunn> It's a little early on in this campaign for us to have made a decision on that front.
Risa: Will prime runners from previous supplements such as Ghost Cartels or Jackpoint posters be appearing in them either soon or in the future?
JohnDunn> That'd be telling. ;)
Tarot: How often will the PDF's be released?
JohnDunn> New Shadowrun Missions scenarios will be released montly.
Casazil: Will the PDF versions be made available to demo team members for free?
JohnDunn> Yes, and also to anyone running public game days or working conventions.
Doubledecker: I would like to see something out of States... :-)
JohnDunn> It's a little early for us to make any promises, but technically Manhattan *is* out of the UCAS.
Phinegan: So the NYC campaign could be arlound for almost 2 years?

2XL> Hey folks, 2XL here. How's it hanging?
Sticks> Sticks, bounty hunter.
TurboBunny> TurboBunny, Rigger extraodinaire and some-time mechanic
Mihoshi_Oni> Mihoshi Oni, the Prettiest Troll you've never met.
Netcat> Netcat, the best hacker in the room.
Red_Anya> Alright Frosty, I'm here. Why did you drag us all over to the breeder pit?
Red_Anya> RedAnya, weapons dealer
Butch> Hacker? That's a good one, 'Cat. Butch, street doc and combat medic.
Snopes> Are you now? Snopes online, hey all
Elijah> Elijah, arcanoarchaelogist and sometimes shadowrunner.
JohnDunn> Our guests Shadowrunners are now available for questions from the usual ShadowSEA crowd. I'm assuming you all know each otehr well enough.
Magus: Frosty what has your Mentor been up to? Have not seen him in the shadows in awhile.
Frosty> Well, I bought him a full VR gaming setup awhile back. Got him Game Fan's #1 pick for Christmas--Dawn of Atlantis X: City of Spires -- and mostly he's been gaming.
Magus: That slacker
Thud: Well, I'm, uhm, new here actually, and I got a question from me mum.
Doubledecker: Hi I am Doubledecker, it?s February already?!?
2XL> Be nice to them, they're not used to all of us.
WhiteIC: Umm... Hi! I kinda gotta question for NetCat. I'm also of the doing stuff with the brain pursuasion, you mighta seen what I did to the Renraku main node a few weeks back... Was it hard during the Emergence for you? I mean, I heard what Clockwork did, but anything else that was really bad? Also, ya wanna hang out and chat some time?
Netcat> Well, I kept my head down, so--despite that a-hole Clockwork, I wasn't too bad off. Kept pretty busy helping others of our, hm, talents, out of jams. Cat's are lucky, you know. ;)
Butch> Sounds like a highly personal problem. I can fix that for y'all if you've got the cred.
WhiteIC: XD
Doubledecker: Hi, has anybody some news about stonemen around White Stone in Siberia?
Elijah> The Awakened Yakut was sealed in early August, and there are some sporadic reports of a conflict in the area, but nothing solid. Set your agent to news tags regarding the Yakut for more.
Thud: Me mum left Britain in 2040, and she'd like to know what's going on back there.
Elijah> I just got back from there, actually, excavating a dolmen. There's a big ruckus, Parliment is rife with some mess involving druids.
Risa: Anya. The political altruism you have displayed in your posts has me intrigued about the women behind the text. Enlighten me on these gambit of questions. Do you employ cyberware? What interests do you have besides dealing weapons? And do you find elven men attractive?
Red_Anya> I use what's necessary to get the job done. Any man can be handsome, if you still look good with a broken nose, you'll have my attention. Though you'll still need more than that to catch me.
Tarot: Butch, any rumors of new 'ware on the streets worth talking about?
Butch> I've got some brand new implants coming in, though I can't tell you exactly when they'll get here - supplies on the street are pretty iffy. Still, my sources are pretty good about this kind of thing.
Taran: So, with all this drek going down with... what do they call 'em, bioengineered awakened drugs(?), eh, this Flipside drek... what kinda state we expecting in the Seattle 'plex from it? Been out of town for a while and it's always safe to know what you're walking back into after all.
TurboBunny> Keep your head down if you want to keep it. The big'uns are fighting and it's getting a little messy. Really though, kick the BADs they are a bad habit waiting to happen...
Red_Anya> Like the chips?
Casazil: Anyone else heard anything of late on this new drug Tempo?
Snopes> New... Spent some time out of the loop neh? It has came and went. Rumors have circulated that production has dried up, and no one knows when they'll see more.
Netcat> Hey, Anya, lighten up. Bunny's clean, aren't you?
Taran: Low blow Anya, Low blow
Magus: What is the latest news in the Smoke with the LPO and the NDM? Anyone heard anything?
Elijah> The Lord Protector and the Prime Minister are at each other's throats - I think the shamanistic Celtic types have unionized and thrown in their lot behind the Prime Minister, leaving the Lord Protector and his New Druidic Movement on the defensive. Of course, I've been more interested in the evens in Elfland.
WhiteIC: That was just mean...
TurboBunny> 60 days, 14 hours, 12 minutes, but who's counting
WhiteIC: Go TurboBunny!
Risa: The more and more I hear from the Russian, the more and more I like her.
tsuyoshikentsu: Omedetou, TurboBunny.
Tarot: Much love to the rehab crowd
tsuyoshikentsu: Six months is a big step.
Magus: Elijah: What is going on in the Tir?
Elijah> Big noises. Ever since the Veil shattered, there's been a lot of civil unrest - the Elf-dominated government has been too busy handling some kind of magical troubles and been making concessions left and right to the mundane Irish folk. You can even piss on James Joyce without getting thrown in jail! I tell you, it's a brave new world.
Zendead: So has anyone else been having trouble in the NAN doing way more border patrols? Laramie in particular.
2XL> They spike up occasionally, though you can always get around the man. Dig up my last post on Travel and I dropped some hints to the greenies.
Prime_Mover: Recently had Hacker that does some work for me come across a frament of a file. I've been told there are some Jackpointers that might be able to shed some light on what little info I do have. LIke what is a Biomorph Drone?
Butch> I've only heard rumors of those things - vetrinary medicine ain't my kick - but FastJack has been putting together a critter file compliation that might shed some light on it.
Zendead: but the city of Laramie is not on or near the border it was wierd.
Snopes> Where's SMiling Bandit whenyou need that good info
Tarot: Any advise on getting someone off flipside? Anyone?
Butch> Nephrine's got a formula that might help ween you off it, but all I can suggest is willpower and cold turkey. Of course, if you decide to just switch addictions I might know a few people that can hook you up with some shade...blow your astral butt right out of that dirty bag of meat, or so they say...
Phinegan: I'm all for civil unrest in the Tir myself...
Doubledecker: So Frosty, anything new in the mumbo jumbo business?
Frosty> Well, there's always *something* new. I've been working a lot, at least. ;) I've heard, ahem, that the Atlantean Foundation have a couple of dig sites they're guarding like the Queen's Jewels. Rumors are running rampant.
Taylor: As long as it's just rumor and not some Old Ones.
Tarot: Thanks Butch but I can already do that myself ;-)
Snopes> Rampant is an understatement Frosty... you'd be surprised what I've seen cross my AR
Doubledecker: You mean the Ukrainen thing?
Mountaincarver: Digsites containing what, exactly? That sounds interesting.
TeOdio: Hey Turbo Bunny, any good smuggling gigs in Southeast Asia right now? I here the Vietnames-Dega Alliance conflict may be spilling over into Thailand and Laos.
TurboBunny> That's a bit outside my area...Mihoshi, you got anything?
tsuyoshikentsu: Anyway, this one's for anyone who's up for it. I'm a youngun, and I've never seen the Wailing Wall; I'd like to go, but info on the state of affairs in Israel has rather dried up. Anyone know anything? I can pay a little...
Elijah> Fianchetto should have been here to answer this, but I hear he's a little tied up at the moment. The Israeli state is doing well, and you're probably safe to visit the wall if your SIN is in order...well, as safe as the Middle East ever gets.
Gearstick: So, asking the Matrix residents, Netcat, Slamm-0: how are things falling together on the Matrix after Emergence?
Netcat> Other than the fact that there are AIs running around like a rat infestation? And I've heard there might be other things in the Matrix, too... not sprites, but something altogether different.
Red_Anya> Ghost stories 'Cat?
Doubledecker: I have heard that Schwatzkopf has made a move out... anybody have any detail about it?
Elijah> Herr Professor has taken a sabbatical for a year to handle his affairs and conduct some research. He put one of his vassals, Kurtbad, in charge of teaching his classes until he gets back. I've been auditing his History of the Occult class online, see.
Mountaincarver: Yes, I think so too. Thud's mum is a saint.
tsuyoshikentsu: Especially when the kid's a fomori with a squirtgun full of Pepper Punch.
Mihoshi_Oni> <sniff> Sorry Thud. I didn't mean it. I'm sure your mother is very nice...if not a font of wisdom.
Magus: 'Cat still bitter over losing that contest with Slamm-O?
Netcat> I have no idea what you're talking about. I've trounced his little hacker-ass in every online game we've played. And using sprites is *NOT* cheating.
Thud: It's all right, chum. No harm meant, I'm sure.
Falke: I'm happy, that there aren't this much AIs in the port of Hamburg. Damn things, still don't know if they are alive or just an agent with some extreme personality software...
Caleb_Gentoo: Has there been any progress on the study of the biochemistry of awakened creatures in an effort to control certain spontaneous powers and abilities that are manifested? I'm afraid my research agent has... disappeared? And my own studies have kept me from looking into it personally.
Butch> They did manage to create a clone daschund with hellhound genes, but it spontaneously combusted. I think the CAS army is funding further study.
Mountaincarver: She also makes the bestest cookies.
TeOdio: If she's a Fomori and can string together 5 syllables that would make her a font of wisdom::ninja
2XL> Trust me, that's not all they've cloned...I still have dents to smooth out
Mihoshi_Oni> Hey! I can speak five languages! English, City Speak, Japanese, and Bad Japanese!
Thud: HEY! That wasn't very nice at all! (I'll have her send you some, MC; PM me a mailing address.)
Risa: Thud. May I have the location of your mum's haven? She sounds like a women who fits my pallet...
Sticks> Counting, however, is not your strong suit.
WhiteIC: That's only 4...
Sticks> That's what I said, WhiteIC.
WhiteIC: And I'm not sure that Bad Japanese counts.
Zendead: I thought the counting thing was a given
Thud: Uhm... well... you seem like a nice enough sort of bloke, Risa, but bein' frank you creep me mum out a bit.
Netcat> Oh, no you don't.
Caleb_Gentoo: I believe Bad Japanese counts only if you don't speak Good Japanese.
Elijah> Mihoshi swearing in Japanese is something to be witnessed.
Risa: Bloke?!?! *Slams fist on the desk* [ :D ]
WhiteIC: But aparently she can, hence my confusion
Netcat> There, took care of that.
Snopes> Did you just drop Slamm-O Netcat?
Mountaincarver: I don't think he meant it that way, Risa. No worries.
Butch> It's the Matrix, Risa. If your sex isn't clearly labelled in your icon, that's your problem.
Snopes> And is all this being mean to Slamm-O related to that rumor that's come up about you two working together?
Risa: *Puts Thud on the 'hunt' list*
TeOdio: Sorry Risa, musta been your chest hair.::tongue
Taran: Damn 'Cat, give poor Slamm-O a chance to stay online for a FEW minutes ;)
Zendead: Cat are you drekking with Slamm-O still
Netcat> Yeah, well. Won that round. *evil grin*
Zendead: good girl
Gearstick: It's like watching a yo-yo...
Red_Anya> It's not much "still" as always, bitch won't let him breathe, but he likes it...
Mountaincarver: Heh... 'drek'. I haven't heard that word in 10 years.
Tarot: Hey 'Cat be nice to Slamm-O. A couple years ago he gave my chavver a bat she still uses to this day.
Magus: ::Gets out the spray bottle:: Bad Kitty give the guy a chance
Risa: Uncouth ditbrains. I'm wasting my time here. *Abrubt disconnect* [Thanks for the fun guys and thanks to the jackpoint posters. ]
WhiteIC: Cat, there's a time and aplace to use Nuke.
2XL> Chicago for example...
Doubledecker: Where does Laughing man went? He have nice quotes sometimes...
Frosty> "Laughing Man" isn't on Fastjack's VPN. There's a reason. However, since I'm in Fastjack's good graces at the moment, I'd better not say *what* that reason is...
WhiteIC: Oh, that's bad taste!¬
Sticks> Bloody hackers...I can barely check my mail and they're talking about all that nonsense...never trust a commlink you can't hit with a stick!
Doubledecker: He made a joke of him :-DDD
Taylor: Thank you, Cpt. Obvious.
Tarot: Only trouble follows a clown. Especially one with pointy ears and waaay to much experience.
Caleb_Gentoo: Butch, you spoke of the CAS Army research earlier. Is there any word to new compounds that are being researched or developed for possible military use?
Butch> Well, the hush-hush stuff is a field trial of a new K-series compound. After K-10 they took it back to formula to try and work the bugs out. No word on whether its been tested on metahumans yet, though. Not that the idea of a berserk, drug crazed chimpanzee doesn't scare the drek out of me.
WhiteIC: ....Are you always this mean toSlamm-O! Cat?
Netcat> Mean? That wasn't mean. What, all he'd have done is brag about some exploit he'd just done, or pshaw'd rumors of AIs, or... or, made a bad joke or something. You have any matrix questions, you just ask me. Or Snopes. He's got a head on his shoulders.
WhiteIC: But, but... He has an -O! on his name, that's awesome...
Netcat> Man, it's three characters on a keyboard.
Sticks> No. Insect spirits, zombies, insect magicians, toxic magicians, blood magicians, demonologists, pimps, wise guys...but virtuakinetics are fine. Haven't run afoul of 'em yet.
WhiteIC: But it's epic!
Phinegan: Does that mean you advocate bludgeoning 'mancers Sticks?
Taran: Don't mind IC 'cat... she's easily excitable
Mountaincarver: Heh, but NetCat has 'cat' in her name. That's even awesomer.
Caleb_Gentoo: Especially with the enhancements some of those chimps have now. I've heard rumors of rabbits that were as viscious as any gaurd animal a group traditionally runs into.
Tarot: Berserk chimps. That's a childhood nightmare waiting to happen.
Doubledecker: Gearstick: you were right - like a yo-yo
Zendead: One would hope Snopes has a head on his shoulders otherwise no Snopes
WhiteIC: ....I am not Taran! Just because of that one run...
BlitzSchwinge: People are easy to empress -> /points @White IC
Payo: Always respect el goto...
Mihoshi_Oni> I think Sticks is talking to himself again. Post-traumatic stress.
Ophis: One day I'd like to have a long chat with the Laughing Man, his posts back in the day were... interesting. I heard a rumour he was running things behind the scenes in the Tir.
Frosty> Right. Because, you know, he's so into Politics. *laugh*
TurboBunny> He's into someone else more I think...
Mountaincarver: Si, verdad, Payo.
Zendead: well politics could be done from the end of a sword
Zendead: or a gun for that matter
Thud: All right, well, me mum wants to head out to lunch. It's been very nice talking with you all, and have a good day.
Taylor: You mean the black ones from Atzlan, Caleb? The ones that hunt in packs and spit fire? Yeah, those are some evil rabbits.
WhiteIC: Or large explosives
Ophis: Maybe coincidence.
WhiteIC: Send your mum my love!
Ophis: It's the link of spires in the Ranelle and the Will.
Mountaincarver: Good to see you, Thud. Say hi to your mum for me. :)
tsuyoshikentsu: Yeah, I'm out too. Arigatou again, Oni-san. Hope you never meet Thud's mum. ;-)
Ophis: If I was being wicked I'd suggest that Netcat and Slamm-O! were flirting.
TurboBunny> It's what they do. Just stay out of their private channels. I wandered in and hit the chips for a week to wash those visuals...
TeOdio: Back to work questions, I gots bills to pay. I here that 'Jack is digging up dirt on the ol underworld. Im gonna be in Hong Kong for sum biz and I wnat to make sure I don't step on any toes. Who seemed to come out ahead of the Tempo fiasco, the Black Crysanthemums or the Smoke Circle Triad?
Sticks> The dust was still settling when I was there, but no matter which one wins, we all lose, y'know?
Zendead: true that sticks
Mihoshi_Oni> My contacts say the Black Chrysanthemum may have come out ahead.
WhiteIC: 'Nother question. Does everyone really dislike Puck as much as they makeout?
Netcat> *I* like Puck. Seriously, whom among us haven't screwed up a bit in the past? Puck was there for me when I needed some guidance. I don't care what *some* people here think, Puck's had a change of - philosophy- and I'll stand by him.
WhiteIC: Nice to know
Ophis: Puck seems okay to me who hasn't made a bad choice at some point?
Gearstick: That's fair enough. Still, as screwups go, Puck choose a winner.
Ophis: @Turbo Bunny - Should I hire a hacker to record it and sell it on?
TurboBunny> If you can find it. After that, FastJack told them to find a room that wasn't on his node.
Rogue_Angel: I was thinking of heading over to Seattle for a bit. Does anyone know how to get access to the Crime Mall, as I'd like to be stocked up quickly as possible.
Butch> You can download directions direct from ShadowSEA - stop by my clinic, I'll hook you up with any new 'ware, 10% off. That's friend prices.
Netcat> Bunny, that's so not true! Like I'd flirt with that... with him! Seriously!
JohnDunn> ***NODE COMPROMISED***
JohnDunn> ***Entering Reboot Cycle***
Mountaincarver: Anyway, is there something more that an old retired shadowrunner like myself might need to know that's going on these days?
Sticks> Get your age rejuvenation in, grandpa. There's only one way to retire from the shadows, and that's the crematorium at the Church of Gaia, Inc.
JohnDunn> ***NODE COMPROMISED***
Netcat> Damn it, Slamm-0!!! You can't___****
JohnDunn> ***Entering Reboot Cycle***
Elijah> A bit harsh, Sticks. Not all of us live in violence.
JohnDunn> ***NOD COMPROMISED***
JohnDunn> ***Entering Reboot Cycle***
2XL> I'm out before it dumps
JohnDunn> ***Dumping Users***
JohnDunn> Seems Slamm-0! has taken drastic actions.
JohnDunn> Thanks to everyone for attending and participating in the April 2009 Shadowrun Chat!
JohnDunn> We'll be exiting moderation momentarily
Magus> Hey AH
>> Oblate has left room #Shadowrunchat
WhiteIC> That was awesome.
Ancient_History> Made it back! How'd it go?
tsuyoshikentsu> Aww.
Ophis> Hey everyone.
tsuyoshikentsu> Everybody loves Thud.
Mountaincarver> Fun! More! More!
WhiteIC> Thud is win
tsuyoshikentsu> Thud is probably my favorite character ever.
Taran> *sigh* I hate being called away, I missed out on asking me last question
Doubledecker> except his mother...
tsuyoshikentsu> He LIVES WITH HIS MUM.
Magus> @ AH you still down in S. Fl region?
tsuyoshikentsu> She's actually a 1/1contact.
Ancient_History> Unfortunately.
>> Gearstick has left room #Shadowrunchat
Magus> You should come up to O-Town for some autographs.
Mountaincarver> Hey, lotsa runners live with thier mum. Didn't you see Mr and Mrs. Smith. :)
Casazil> hey S Fl. is a good place
Tarot> Thud's mum rules
