mmmm...
Strategic Operations....
hang on:
Leviathans—an alternate history miniatures game of air fleet battles set in 1910—also had a lot of retailers excited. While there were no game mechanics to show off, a folder with a dozen concept illustrations and a box cover illustration from Doug Chaffee got high marks across the board.
why does that sound familiar?

why does that sound familiar?Crimson Skies, only set even earlier.
Strategic Operations sounds like a Battletech book.

Nothing will ever come close to the hotness that Crimson Skies is. Its all that pulp and early art deco stuff in the art style that makes me love it so. I mean I love the Zeppelins (seriously, how can anyone (at least a non-smoker) not love Zeppelins? Its awesome-punk incarnate) and insane aircraft, but the art makes me love it.

How many segments does that GM-screen have? Looks like one can finally lay claim to an appropiate part of any table.

I love the wide city-scape on the GM screen. If possible keep it as shown with no text at all on the outside, it looks great and would help set the mood.
Question: What is the saddle-stitched product with the 1st Ed. Elmore cover?
Ancient History
Apr 27 2009, 01:17 PM
The Elmore cover is the frontispiece to SR4A.

Is that what Caine Hazen was refering to as the Seattle 2072 cover? I don't see anything that looks like a new sourcebook cover anywhere in that photo.

That's a proof copy of the interior of SR4A, with a cover proof next to it.
The Seattle 2072 cover will be taken from the GM Screen illustration, but colored differently.
