I'm working on getting new guys on the team up to speed and transition some stuff off my plate. I'm still under the gauntlet for another month but I'm thinking things should lighten up a bit then. I am gonna try to spend a little time working on the setting in preparation.

Work is beginning to wind down towards sane levels. The table-top team had their first run in Vladivostok tonight. I thought they were gonna start blowing stuff up and have to move on to a new city, but they kept a low profile, completed the run, made a few contacts and got a local fake SIN. All in all, it was a good night.

My computer harddrive decided to get sick and threaten dying. I will have to buy a new one and reinstall the OS. I should be back up to full post speed by this weekend.

As discussed previous, it should be fine; however, we will need to nail down the timing so I can warn the wife. For some reason she get's upset if I say, "No, I can't go to Bob and Mary's for dinner. I have to play Shadowrun." And it gets worse when I say things like, "No, I didn't look at the family calendar or write this down."

same as alex i need to know times and what not the wife hates when i say i have to go anywhere. she starts to works weekends this weekend until april when we leave. i should be ok though should something come up. i just need to make sure she is ok with the whole thing. Amelia our daughter can't look afer herself yet three months old when do they start getting jobs again.

RJ you know me, i am always looking for a way to play SR. RL has been pretty shitty to work wise and friend wise. i have to do 120 hrs comm service for something he started in public. the guy is a idiot, but good new is they only let me do 5 hours on sat and sun which shouldn't complicate things. If we do play on the weekends a few times a month i talked it over witht the wife she wasn't happy "you better not complain about being tired" was all she said lol. women......where a smartgun when you need one. so i just downloaded skype again just PM me the info to get in contact with you guys and i will be up to speed so to speak until game time.

It appears that I have to be out of town not one, but two weeks in February. I'm kinda thinking Tuesday the 23rd (1900 cst) for a first game. Between now and then I will endeavor to spend some time looking over the characters. Let me know how that sounds to everyone?

sounds like a plan RJ, have a good road trip. i was over looking Ryo and i saw i had two, two many spells i am only allowed four and i had six on there, sorry about that. i also saw that i didn't have any services on there as well so maybe later we can hash out those minor details before the first game.

P.S. Anyone else had trouble the last few days getting DS to work?

I can bump by half an hour.Otherwise we can do it later on Fridays - but that will probably reduce frequency as I am sure everyone will fairly often have other activities happen on Fridays.

i am 5 hours ahead of est so to late and i run into the next day and i don't think the family would really appreciate that lol. i can move a little but not to much more then half a hour.

and yeah i had some problems getting on as well last week idk what was wrong just didnt load. works now is all that matters right.

it will have to be in the late evenings for me since the time difference is so big. so say from 6pm to midnight London time. and thats for saturday nights, depending on which days we want to do this i will have to stay up pretty late with yall.

Ok, so you're six hours ahead of CST. That means if we start a game at 6pm my time, its midnight your time. Perhaps a little different take on this game. How about two hours on a Saturday morning, perhaps 1-2 Saturday's/month? Say 8am CST/9am EST/2pm London time?

2 pm my time is bad i cannot do it until maybe three thirty or four prior community service work.

That's not really gonna work for me... I'm not sure any arrangement to cope with such a huge time difference is going to work

if my time zone is the one bugging everyone out i will step down and you guys can get someone else with a more managable time frame to get into the game i am sure it will be a awesome experience.
