Anyone wonder why it is that you can get +4 capacity in a lower arm or leg, but with a full arm or leg you're still limited to no more than +4 capacity? It sort of implies that there's no way to augment the capacity of the upper arm / upper leg, only the lowers. I think it would have made more sense to simply state "the capacity of a cyberlimb may not be increased by more than X%" Yes, I realize that doing that would make bulk modified cyberlegs veritable warehouses, but they probably should be anyway.

Um, given that the penis replacement cyberware isn't on the list of those that may be increased by more than +2, that won't quite work. (you can put a holdout pistol in there though.)

I think the rules are a good enough approximation. +2 for hands and +4 for arms seems pretty fair, and it's easier to handle than a relative increase.

I would allow +5 for a full limb, if a houserule was requested.

This might very well be veering into "mods will shut us down" land, but how would you handle the rules for someone who DID get that pistol, and shot someone while... er... utilizing the limb?

Ignore all the target's armor rating without losing dice. And it's going to grant a big bonus to the surprise roll.



Exotic weapon skill

If someone wanted to spend the extra bulk on attribute enhancements, I'd let a full limb or torso go up to 8. If he wanted four large smuggler's compartments, it'd be a bit of a problem.

What in God's name would you need a weapon skill for this. It's like saying that you put the gun IN YOUR MOUTH... AND MISSED! If you're using a cyber-penis gun (sick frakker), then if you shoot your load , the target takes a whole fragging butt load of damage (read assassinated).

Yes, this is a spinoff of the Chunky Salsa rule. Obviously, there isn't really anything you could do in that situation to make the gun do more damage. there's no aiming involved, no rolling. And more importantly, the damage cannot be completely reduced. Seriously, you get shot like that, you take damage, 'nuff said.

Seriously though, you're right, the enhancement is placed in a limb (usually a torso, though nothing says you can't put one elsewhere. It only takes 1 capacity) and as such can't be enhanced as a limb.

And why can't there be a cyber penis? I mean think about it. If you have a woman who wanted to enjoy what a man does then she'll need a cyber penis. Besides whatever we sick fraggers can think up has most likely been topped by something that would make us puke.

Use Flechette Armor for a Messy End. Probability is good that the target is naked. And the Hold-Out can be modified for burst fire too right?
Or Stick-N-Shock if you wanna have your partner twitch.

I'd probably say the hold out, gets an automatic +4DV for called shot for damage outright. Dice at this point are pretty pointless.
