When you couple gadgets such as these with the soon-to-be-released portable wireless routers that will give anyone wi-fi anywhere satellites can send and receive signals, the "commlink" of SR4 is almost ready to go. This is one reason why I've adjusted the timeline for my players and just set up the wi-fi Matrix as the one and only Matrix for the setting as I see it.
