Just checking my understanding. Background knowledges have replaced such things as Magical Theory or what ever you would use to design a new drone or attack program?

For creating new spells and stuff like that the skill Arcana (Logic) is introduced in Street Magic which is pretty much the old magical theory.
The others require indeed background skills, though chemistry is another active skill introduced in arsenal.
