I just had an interesting thought, ladies and gentlemen.
I was talking to Phaeton via AOL Instant Messenger a moment ago, and it suddenly occurred to me:
What if everything recorded in the Japanese monster movies made starting in the first half of the 20th Century were BASED UPON ACTUAL EVENTS ?
That is, what if Godzilla, Rodan, Gammera, Mothra, Ghidorah and all of the other creatures made famous by the Japanese film industry over the last half-century or so were REAL, Pre-Awakening sightings of Dragons and other such creatures common to the world of SHADOWRUN, nearly a century later?
Anyone else have any thoughts on the subject?

I'll thank you NOT to lump me and Phaeton into the same group, Sahandrian.
EVERYBODY knows that I'M sociopathic, and as we all know, that's a personality disorder, NOT a mental illness.

Hmmm...I have to agree with Foreigner's theory.
But what was Mecha-Godzilla, then? Maybe a machine made to fight the horrors in the future?

Maybe it's a Godzilla cyberzombie from the future?

Rather odd how some of them seem to do that, isn't it?

Not at all, Ceres.
As I told Phaeton, the topic seems to have taken on a life of its own.
I found it somewhat odd that some topics seem to have that effect upon people. That's all I meant by what I said earlier.

You have to use the Semibalistic frame for Mecha-Godzilla, I think. Give it a secondary power plant (neclear reactor). Make the legs, tail, and arms robotic/mechanical arms. *Suddenly reilizes that he's going to make it*

Origin: 1974-1975 MechaGodzilla is a robot from outer space used by aliens to conquer the earth. The 1993 MechaGodzilla was designed by a joint American- Japanese project under the jurisdiction of the United Nations Godzilla CounterMeasures Center. Head scientist on this project was Dr. Leo Asimov. Flying warship Garuda was built shortly before and modified to be used as additional firepower and thrust for MechaGodzilla when docked on back. Technology used to create MechaGodzilla was borrowed from 23 century cyborg Mecha King Ghidora. |
