So I'm confused about something. For spell defense the rules state that the defenders roll their defense stat(Body or Will) plus the Counter Spelling dice. Does this mean plus the Counter Spelling rating or do you get Counter Spelling + Magic?

magic attribute has no impact on defensive counterspelling. so it's (body or will) + counterspelling

This... The Magic Attribute only comes into play when Counterspelling static magic already in place...
