2215: Inside O'Mally's Party Room

Hack'ed clears his throat, having only talked to the waitress to order some pasta and gumbo for dinner. He quickly scans the room and then begins to speak.

"Well since we are trying to be open here, you can call me Hack'ed since thats what everyone else seems too once they get to know me. Simply put I throw a few spells and chase off summoned creatures & spirts. I have never taken to summoning myself and my spells are geared more toward subdoing or incapacitating people. I also have a good understanding of the matrix from my former life."

When he's finshed Hack'ed leans back and takes a long drink from his large glass of water.

2228: Inside O'Mally's Party Room
Mordred steps into the room escorting a red headed woman. "Please take your seat," he says as he indicates a open chair. He then steps back out of the room.

2230: Inside O'Mally's Party Room
Two men walk into the room. The first is a short stout balding man dressed in tweed and black loafers, carrying a leather briefcase. He adjusts his glasses on his nose and nervously shifts back and forth. His eyes constantly searching the room with an expression of fear on his face.

The second man is tall and dressed in a blue suit. He has a bright smile and a face that shows he is alert. He says, "Hello everyone. My name is Darren O'Mally and this is Dr. Smith. Please treat him with the utmost respect. Wes, your instincts are good; however, you gave Dr. Smith quite a fright with your little picture." Turning to Jack he says, "Maggie sends her appologies that she won't be here tonight. If it helps, she spoke highly of you." Turning back to the group he states, "I will not be able to join you this evening; however, I trust that Dr. Smith will provide you with all the details of the potential employment opportunity that he is presenting. Also, for those of you that were able to enjoy some of the food, I trust that you were pleased." With that he smiles and walks out.

Dr. Smith, with more than a little trepidation explains, "I need your help. I work at the D-Day museum downtown. You may be aware that Saeder-Krupp is becoming a little more friendly with the CAS government than in the past. That all started a few years ago when ... " He stops, clears his throat, and begins again. "You did not come here for a history lesson." He seems a little more at ease now that he is talking. "I represent a group that would like to ensure that Saeder-Krupp does not bury our little museum. The local government does not seem to care about us and does not plan to move us when Saeder-Krupp takes over the block for that new monstrosity of a building. We will be regulated to the basement and will most likely be required to become corporate citizens if we wish to continue working for the museum. My colleagues and I are up in arms; however, that will do nothing for us. I need to get certain items out of the museum before the take over happens next week. I also need to get any information that can prove that Saeder-Krupp is planning on shutting us down in violation of the agreement with the local governments." As he stops to breath, he seems to fall back into the passive attitude that he had earlier. He looks around the room as if not sure what to expect next.
last_of_the_great_mikeys
Jack listens as Darren explains the situation, thenturns his attention to Dr. Smith. Well, it appears my role in this is obvious. Infiltrate Saeder-fragging-Krupp and listen and look for intelligence. Maybe the real money jobs aren't really what I want after all.

"So, Dr. Smith, it appears you actually have two jobs for us. Smuggling and intelligence gathering. At two different sites no less. You realize, of course, that this divided attention will make our jobs most difficult and that the target is not one to be taken lightly. So, you realize I must ask this. Are you sure you can afford to pay us what this job is worth?" His voice is grim as he souts his monologue. A small time museum shouldn't be able to afford something like this.

[ Spoiler ]
Whizbang
"Interesting. Figures that SK wouldn't care for a D-Day museum. Just what type of artifacts are you looking for us to retrieve? And what sort of corporate presence is in the area already?
Nikoli
My, my, it's not everyday you're invited to thumb your nose at a dragon, a AAA mega corp and do something your dear old dad would like. You know you want this job, Rooster. Just try not to salivate as he's talking.
Need to play it cool, let the others talk first. Nobody likes a smart orc. No, they want us just slightly brighter than how they want their trolls. Just an ugly pet that you don't want to look at but instead intimidate the neighbors with.
Stop that! This teams different, they aren't your folks and they aren't your last crew. Just let them talk.

Rooster nods, taking in the questions and answers, intrigued by the thought of robbing a museum.

Ohh D-day, the Normandy Invasion, you know I love history Wes

Wes looked slightly puzzled at this "Dr. Smith", wondering why someone could spend so much time dwelling on things that happened over 125 years ago, sure it was a big part of history, but still...

"I've been to the museum, theres not much real stuff there, just some old weapons, and a plane. And I hope your not thinking of us trying to rescue that aircraft. Now, there could be other things in the backrooms that aren't on display."

Wes leans back in his chair, extending his feet out in front of him, "Well how much were you thinking of offering for your little job."

[ Spoiler ]
ludomastro
Dr. Smith smiles a little and seems to relax if only slightly. "While the plane would be wonderful, it is not in any condition to be moved, much less used. So, no, I don't think that the plane would be a good choice," he says laughing to himself. "No, those that I represent would like some backroom items removed. There are several items in storage crates that should be removed. They are labeled as 'Personnal Effects - SGT Johnson'. I believe that there are four boxes about the size of a large suitcase. These should be delivered unopened to the location I will provide after we complete our little talk. Also, I would like you to get a list of names of those who were in Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division and a pistol used by PFC Jones during that battle. You must take nothing else AND no one must get hurt. This must be completed by this weekend."

"Since you believe that this two jobs should be separated, I will offer you five thousand for sucessful removal of the items. As you believe the Saeder-Krupp information is separate issue, I would like to propose ten thousand for that information. You may take up to ten days for that information."

With that he leans back into his chair and looks around the room.

Hack'ed sits and listens closely as Dr. Smith outlines the jobs and the others ask questions.

Well this could be helpful, 15000 nuyen to split between us for a weeks work, not bad. At least it might get me out of that coffin motel for a while.

Once Dr. Smith appears to have stopped talking, Hack'ed speaks up, "One question, will the data grab also have the same restriction of no one getting hurt?"

ludomastro
Dr. Smith smiles a bit and says, "I don't mind if they get hurt, but please, no deaths, I can't have that on my conscience."
Kiedo
twenty-five hundred, not bad, it's not like either of those jobs should be that challenging, well maybe the SSaeder-Krupp part.

Wes gives a contrived amiable smile, thinking to himself, that tangling with dragons was worth much more than 2500 a head. He had scared the squatty little man earlier in the evening, but this time, it was charm, though he didn't think he had much in that department.

"So let me get this straight, you want us to extract, four large suitcase size boxes, a list of people, and a gun, without even hurting anyone, AND, get into Saeder-Krupp and find out they really plan to violate an agreement with the CAS government, with out killing anybody, all for 2,500 a head?"

Wes had a bad feeling the moment he saw the guy out front, and something just wasn't adding up. Give a group of six a small amount of cash to steal some things, but they can't take anything else or can't hurt anyone. He may know history but he doesn't know economics. You can't pay the cashier below minimum wage and expect them not to take something out of the till.

Party Room 21:38

Wes gives a quick wink to Caz, "Good to see you again, Caz," as she sits down.

Caz acknowledgement to Wes, “Hey ya Wes. Nice to see a familiar face.”

Leaning back while listening to Wes’s spiel Caz thinks to herself, ”Frag, I knew I should of kept my gun on me. Both these guys are packin. Hopefully Darren doesn’t notice.”

As Wes finishes his speech Caz says, “No idea why we’re here Wes, I’m sure we’ll find out why shortly though.” Smiling she continues, “As Wes said, we might learn something from what our specialties are. I’m ex-army and have a fairly decent record doing covert ops. If we need inside a place, be it loudly or silently, I’m your gal.”

2230: Inside O'Mally's Party Room

Watching Darren leave after introducing Dr. Smith, Caz focuses her attention on the suit.

Listening to the suit drone on Caz thinks, ”SK… that’s that damn corp with a fraggin’ Dragon. This job promisies to be all sorts of interesting.”

Smiling to herself as she realizes this might be more up her alley than she first thought she shoots an AR message to Wes, “If Dr. Smith works at the museum, and wants this done by this weekend – we need to hit him up for info on the building plans and what knowledge he has of the security systems. I can verify the system info if I can get on-site before we hit the place.”

When the suit mention’s the Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division Caz thinks, “Why in the world are these guys interested in old military intelligence and items? She struggles to remember what she knows of the D-Day invasion and why this info and knowledge would be so important to Dr. Smith.

Wes former false smile fades into a genuine on recieving the message from Caz. In the little time between his question to the Johnson, and the time he answered, Wes sends back the following message.

"I was just thinking the same thing. And if I'm right about the big guy sitting to my right, I think his name is Rooster? he and I should be able to get you in if we can't just go to the museum as 'patrons'."
Whizbang
"Don't think I've been to your museum before. Are you still keeping business hours? And what sort of staff do you keep during the day and the night?" Zelda asked. She figured that there were others here that were better at breaking and entering than she was, but those questions still needed to be asked. When they got to the second part of the mission, then she would have her time to shine.
last_of_the_great_mikeys
"Come now, doctor, surely you do not believe we will accept such a small amount for the risk we are taking. On the surface it might seem that it is a simple snatch mission and an intelligence gathering mission, neither of which should we need to engage the enemy. However, dragons have long memories and hold grudges. Perhaps you should try a new opening offer and we'll go from there. Let us start with your lowball offering being at least double what you are offering now, then we can negotiate."

JDragon
hmmm, he has a good point. Guess I should just keep my big mouth shut while he works and see what happens.

After Dr. Smith answers his question Hack'ed leans back, nods and says, "Thanks"
ludomastro
Dr. Smith seems a little taken aback by the apparent annomosity at his offer for the work; however, he sits back in his seat and pauses for several moments. "Well, now. I suppose that you make a good point about the potential difficulty of getting data out of Saeder-Krupp's offices downtown. I'll revise the offer to twenty-one thousand total. That makes it seven for the museum and fourteen for the Saeder-Krupp work. If my math is good that would be thirty-five hundred for each of you. I can't go higher than that without approval of my backers."
JDragon
Damn, this getting better by the minute. Well I know I'm in, but I'll just wait and see what else these guys can come up with.

Hack'ed nods slightly in Jack's direction as Dr. Smith explains that he will increase the pay.
Kiedo
Well he seems on the level, as zeolous about history as the next musuem currator.

Wes again pulls up a message dialog, and sends a message to the entire group.

Dragons, datasteals, and B&E, it seems like he's lowballing us, even at 21k, but what do you guys think?
-Wes
Nikoli
Reply to all:
Definitely sounds like a lowball, but petty theivery usually does warrant a low price. We also need to know what kind of robbery, too clean and it will look suspisciously like it was arranged, too messy and it will definitely look arranged. Gotta be just the right amount of mess and clutter created, gotta make it look like a random crime, not a contracted miracle. But that's his choice in the long run.
last_of_the_great_mikeys
Backers? We don't need no stinking backers! Heh. What movie was that from? An old flat screen flick I believe. Oh, if only I could read minds! I would love to know who these backers are. Jack was hoping for more, but it made sense that this museum curator would have limited funds. Besides, it was far more than the usual 100 nuyen run he'd always taken before.

"Well, 21000 nuyen does seem a little closer to what I had in mind. Perhaps your backers would allow a bonus for early delivery or how quiet the run is for instance. I also must insist on half up front. Standard practice, you know."

Jack opens his commlink windows to see what messages were sent.

Well, let us keep in mind that we do not know Dr. Smith's ultimate goal. The involvement of the dragon may be incedental. If he balks at paying our up front demand then we know there is a problem and that he probably expects us to end up "unpayable."
JDragon
Seeing the messages come in to his AR, Hack'ed mentally responds to all.

I agree with the need for half up front. I'm in at the given rate, but will do my share to earn what ever you can negoitate. But for the negoations I should just keep my mouth shut.
Hack'ed
ludomastro
Dr. Smith looks around the room and nods to himself. "I see that you are discussing among yourselves. Please take your time and let me know what you think. Concerning the half up front ... I can give you ten thousand up front. I will have to contact my backers if you insist on a bonus."
Smilin_Jack
Message to all: "Half up-front definately. The rate isn't the greatest, but I suppose it will have to do for now. Wes did bring up a good point - if its misdirection they want, we need to see how willing they are to part with some of the other items in the museum. If the goal to just keep these specific items out of S-K's hands, they shouldn't mind too much if something else goes missing."

Message to Jack: "Jack, since you seem to be the one handling negotiations - feel him out on providing us the floorplans and security specs on the museum."
Kiedo
Wes sits up in his chair, takes a deep breath and looks around the room, he wasn't a smoker but he sure wanted a cigarette right now. He just couldn't get over this odd feeling, the Johnson looked alright, but there was something else.

Maybe it's because you haven't done any "running" in a while and your nervous.

"No that couldn't be it," he mumbled.

Well he seems on the up and up to me, just your everyday wage slave.

"That's exactly the point, he's clean, too clean," Wes[/i] said trying very hard to be quiet.

Well as the old adage goes, follow the money.

[b]Wes
nods to himself and brings up an AR view of the room. He sees all of his fellow runners, and begins to search for 'Mr. Smith'.

After he does this he props himself up so he won't slump over, and drops into full VR.

Before begining his searches he sends a message to the team.

I'm going full VR to see if I can find anything on Mr. Smith, message me if something happens before I'm back.

"I must say this fee assumes there will be some amount of support. Floor plans to the museum, security procedures and personell, perhaps false uniforms if needed, those kinds of things. I suggest you give your backers a call and see about that bonus plan. Also, how will you want these two runs performed? I assume you want both done quietly."

[ Spoiler ]
ludomastro
Dr. Smith begins to look nervous. "Gentlemen, is what I am proposing that difficult? My backers assured me this would be relatively easy," he says with a little squeak. "I was told that Mr. O'Mally despite being an upstanding citizen knew some people that could help the museum with our ... uh ... problem. Please gentlemen, and ladies," he says smiling. "I wouldn't want to forget the ladies. Um, yes, please let me make a call."

Fumbling with his comm, Dr. Smith places an AR call. "Yes ... you see ... um ... yes ... well ... OK then, if you are sure." He seems to forget that he doesn't have to speak audibly for this type of call.

[ Spoiler ]

Looking rather somber Dr. Smith starts to stand then sits, "I am sorry, I can not offer you more than what we have discussed. However, I would be happy to provide the layout of the items in the museum, employee schedules, the name and location of the cleaning crew, the timing of guards rounds and such. I had planned to do this anyway ... I must say that you are far more overbearing than I could have imagined. Darren did tell me to expect a push for more money when I told him what we could offer but I had no idea. Perhaps ... I don't know what I should do." With that he seems to be deflated and defeated and sinks into his chair.
Whizbang
Breaking and entering in a museum isn't that bad....it's the information hunt that could be the real challenge. I seriously doubt you've seen beyond the public side of the Saeder Krupp system.... And unless you have a starting point for us to work from, it's going to take some doing to find information on a little fish in a big pond."
last_of_the_great_mikeys
Jack senses weakness in the good Doctor and decides to play it for what he can get. He wasn't going to turn down the job, but perhaps he could use the man's desparation to their advantage.

"Well, Dr. Smith, why don't you tell us why this is so important to you and your backers. Why the great distress over what can only be, though historical artifacts, mere things?" He puts on a sympathetic face as best he can and looks somber.

[ Spoiler ]

"Perhaps you can convince us to take the lesser fee if you can explain why this is so important and what would be lost should the job not get done."
Kiedo
Wes drops out of VR, and using an AR messenger forwards his results to the team, along with an attached note.

[ Spoiler ]

Having had her say, Zelda took her own turn to drop into AR and in turn VR as she attempted to place a trace on his call. If he was the simple museum director that he appeared to be, there shouldn't be too much trouble. If there was....well, that was one more thing on the worry sheet.
ludomastro
Dr. Smith looks incredulously at Jack and begins to stammer, "I can't ... why would you believe that it is anything other than the most important ... Young man, if it weren't for history where would we be? If it weren't for the efforts of many dedicated people then we would all be back to the stone age. I can't even begin to describe the importance of ..." He trails off and spends some time regaining his composure. "With all due respect, the loss of history is next only to the loss of life. While these are mere things to you, they are of great value to those who care about them. If you must know, several of the items are for a private collector. I can not bear to think that Saeder-Krupp would simply bury them away in a room full of boxes. While, I have no dislike of Germans, I can't trust that a dragon would appreciate the history in the same way that I, and those around me, do. While, perhaps, I do not understand the difficulty in gaining the information that I seek, I know that it will be helpful to prevent problems with the museum."

He seems ready to say more; however, he stops and sits.
Kiedo
"Now look, from what I understand, History serves those in power. Why else would we need new history books every year, you can't discover that much new information and even if there were new wrinkles in ancient stories it would still have to be fact checked by an outside source to be considered un-biased, and frankly as you most certainly are aware many people go to great lengths to keep certain facts private. It's just the way metahumanity has developed over the last thousand years."

"Also not to spark up an arguement but I think a dragon would be the perfect person to currate historical artifacts, look at The Big D we didn't even know about Or'Zet until he willed it to those orks."

"Now wizworms and myself don't mesh well, I've seen too many things to trust a dragon. Now you on the other hand, Johnathan, you seem legit, and deidcated, albiet to the point of close mindedness, to your cause, and don't have any problem working for you. But you've got to look at it from our point of view, guys-and girls like us are hired to do the shady operations of countless crazy people, despots, and thier ilk, so to be stunned at our suspicion of you, just shows you should have hired someone to take care of this meeting. Now imagine your us, some sheep organizes a group of wolves to steal two things, a bunch of boxes, and information from a dragon, who as a species are notorious for being exceptionally paranoid, and offer a paltry sum in the name of preserving history. My father once told me, never trust a junkie, and you know what Mr. Smith, that's what you are. Your not slotting BTLs or riding the white pony, your drug of choice is the past. I've read your file, BS at Tulane, Masters at MSU, doctorate from LSU, you've spent the past 23 years of your life, plus the time you've spent in college, dwelling on the past, infact making it your life's work. And what do you have to show for it? Your musuem is being bought out and shut down for a Corporate Archology, and all you have to show for it is a refrence letter from a superior and your shiney new Sons of America card."

Now I really don't know why I said all that, maybe it was to prove to you that I, if not the rest of my collegues are capable of doing the job, or maybe it was to test your bladder. If my comrades all agree, that this seems viable, I'll do what it takes to get you your precious things, so you can turn a profit by selling them to your private collector. But know this, omae, if this turns out to be a double cross or if one of my compatriots dies because you said not to hurt anyone, I'll owe you one, and I always pay back my debts."

Wes sits back in his chair and props his feet up on the table.

Jesus, remind me not to get on your bad side. I'll admit that Sons of America connection it a bit concerning, but nothing to warrent the Wrath of Wes. He is probably just what he looks like, a sheep.

"Your probably right, but what's done is done," he mumbles. Wes activates his message window again, not closing it because it's seeing a lot of use, and sends a message to the others.

Sorry if I seemed harsh with him, I just can't shake this creepy vibe he's giving off. If everyone is happy with the offer, I'm in. If not, I have a plan...

A tiny smile creases Jack's lips as he responds. "Oh, doctor, surely one as devoted to history as you knows that those who do not learn from it are doomed to repeat it. The experience of many has taught us much, but in our line of work there is one thing that always is true. When you meddle in the affairs of dragons you draw their attention to you. Once you have that your life is never the same and usually not for the better. This is the nature of the risk you are hiring us to take. It is not the gathering that is a problem. It is the repercussions after the event.

"As soon as the job is done we will all have to fade away. There will be no working for months because we will be under silent scrutiny. We will have to spend our hard earned gains on making sure we are un-findable by the most notable great dragon on the planet. Have you, in all of the history you hold so dear, ever heard of any man ending up in a good situation once Lofwyr has had his attention drawn to them? You ask us to preserve your history and we risk becoming history.

"Now, with this in mind, please calm yourself. There are other ways of compensating us for our efforts besides money. Perhaps you have access to equipment or information that we could use, or programs or even the ability to transport us. Maybe a facility we might normally be unable to access is available to you or a contact can be made. Contacts are always very useful. Or perhaps you have an idea of something to compensate us for our trouble? You see, it need not nessesarily cost you any monetary resources to see to it that we get our worth."

Jack's long speech stalls for time. He hopes someone was tracing that call and researching the connection. Perhaps it might even get them that little extra that could make so much difference.
JDragon
Hack'ed continues to sit and watch the exchange. Having already put in his few thoughts and not wanting to cause any problems.

Dr. Smith stares at Wes with his mouth hung open. He tries several times to speak but can't seem to form words. After listening to Jack he seems to soften quite a bit and says, "Gentlemen, you seem to be professionals, so I will share a bit more than I should tonight. I am indeed the sheep that you make me out to be as I don't know with certainty where my sheppard is leading me. However, I can not doubt his wisdom in asking me to do this. I ..." He pauses as his comm begins to ring, in audible tones no less.

"Yes sir, I see." He then places the comm on the table and a trid image of a man in his forties but with eyes that seem to say he is much older appears.

"To those assembled in this room who have traced Dr. Smith's call to my yatch, please cease and desist tracing me. You are not the only ones who have to contend with your enemies. If it is the dragon that you fear, know this: He is unaware of the plan to undermine the authority of the museum. His underlings will pay one way or the other for their stupidity. I would like to be the one that brings this information to his attention as I am on the, shall we say, drek list, of one of his brethern and could use a point or two on his side, thank you very much. I will offer you something of value in addition to the monetray compensation you seek. If you are sucessful, I will provide an additional four thousand total in S&K stock options to the SINs of your choice. Additionally, I will ensure that you know certain key words and signs that will allow the Son of America to know that you are in trouble and worthy of help. If that does not ease your minds and provide you with what you need, then this deal is off. If nothing else you have proven yourselves capable to do the work and have proven that Dr. Smith is not cut out for this type of work. Good night!

With that, the image is gone. From the look in his eyes, you can tell that Dr. Smith is just as surprised as everyone else.
Kiedo
Wes grins, that's more like it, he thinks. He stares for a moment at Dr. Smith showing a glint of madness in his eye that had gotten him out of very bad situations in the past.

"You should have brought him along, I wouldn't have had to scare you so bad," he muses.

"3,500 nuyen, 666.67 in stocks, from a good solid corp, and some cloak and dagger signals if the drek hits the fan... sounds good to me, I'm in," Wes says, eyes now back to normal.
Whizbang
Zelda blinked in surprise as she returned to reality. Whoever was on the other end of the phone was good. She had thought that she had been under the radar. However, with that level of talent, apparently the stakes were indeed high. All the better for a challenge.

"I was in before, but extra perks never hurt." she finally commented.

"I'm in."

Jack smiles on the inside. This worked out well. It seems the old good cop-bad cop routine works especially well when it happens spontaneously. Now, so I really want to draw Loffy's attention to me? There really is no chance of it not happening since it seems Mr. Johnson intends to tell him about all of this. Well, I wanted into the big time. If worse comes to worse I can change my face, my identity and where I live. After all it's not like I'm giving a material sample to this dork.

Jack monitors the payment as it happens, wondering if anyone was tracking where the money came from. He would if he had the right programs, but now that he had some cash to work with maybe he could buy a few.

"Thank you, Dr. Smith. Before you leave, though, I imagine you have a way for us to contact you to let you know the job is finished?"
ludomastro
Dr. Smith smiles at Jack and says, "Young man, I'll know if anything is missing from my museum. However, here is thw number that you should call when you have completed your work. Until then."

He beams Jack the number and heads out.

Wes watches in silence Dr. Smith's exit, and remains seated until he is completely out of site.

"Well with a group of this size, I imagine we should take advantage of this room while we can, I'll send a message to Darren letting him know. But in the mean time we need to formulate a plan of action. My suggestion is that we divide up into two smaller teams and scout the both targets. Once enough information is gathered, specifically comfirming the information that Dr. Smith has given us, we can regroup and layout a tactical plan. Now I've been talking with Caz on a private channel and I think the museum would be a good starting place, and if you don't mind...Rooster is it, why don't you come with us and the rest of you scout the datasteal locale. I know it seems like I'm picking the easy job for myself, but I assure you that my talents do not rest in the realm of the matrix. But since we are acting as a group that is purely a suggested course of action."
Nikoli
"That sounds like a reasonable split, I'm not one for the 'trix either. Just something keeps bothering me. If only a few boxes are taken from the back, presumably an area that no patron ever sees, won't that tip the authorities off that someone on the inside planned and abeded the job? Seems to be in our clients best interest that it look like a real theft, and those things were taken as part of that and were not the target. Then again, he's not paying us to make it look like anything other than what it is.
Maybe we should some matrix scouting of what's logged in at the museum, see if there is an inventory of those boxes and we can swap them with replicas, might throw off the the secondary target from our trail."

"Why wouldn't I be surprised if the museum wanted to blame this theft on a SK hired team. Anyways, I'm up for checking out the SK sight. I take it I'm likely the matrix expert of the group."

"Well a few years back I would have said I was your man or troll for matrix work, but now I just play at the 'trix stuff. As I mentioned earlier my focus is the arcane." Hack'ed stops for minute and looks around, "Checking out the SK building works for me. Any of you happen to have a ride big enough I'll fit in?"

"Well, I imagine my task will be as part of the team trying to find any evidence on Saeder-Krupp's agreement violation. This is a daunting task. It would help if we knew who the players involved were. As it is we have only that trace made earlier to work with. We need to identify as many involved as possible and profile them. We need to find the site where such files would be stored and crack it.

I can use a computer well enough but I am not special and, at this time, have not the programs nessesary to crack a system. I can sneak, sleaze and infiltrate a site and essentially become a part of the staff. Who else has skills that can be used for this part of our job?"
