Well, the one thing I've noticed since being here is that if you have a question someone will answer it. Or at least try... biggrin.gif Anyway, supposing you take the material on the crime syndicates as presented in New Seattle as "canon", what does the future hold for these syndicates?

Understand, I want complete but informed speculation on one or several of these next few topics. Hell, if you think of better questions speculate and post them too.

Will the Watada-rengo finally acknowledge the legitimacy of the Shotozumi-rengo or will the boys in Chiba try to re-establish control over its wayward gumis or annihilate them as they try?

Will the Seoulpa-rings come closer to completing any of their revenge schemes or will they simply bide their time?

Will the Butcher Bigio put La Familia's house in order to make a major play against the Yaks and start retaking lost ground?

Just what in the hell are the Triads up to?

Same question for the Vory and will they come down from Vancouver and play in Seattle?

Ok, have fun speculating. I look forward to prospecting for answers.

I personally want to know what has been dug up on Tanamous and Chimera. What have these groups been up to?

Good add Shev. For people involved in Street campaigns particularly, I thought getting to know about criminal syndicates would be quite interesting.
Frag-o Delux
I can't really do complete and informed, will you take pure speculation?

I don't think the Watada's will recognize anything, Dragons don't like to be beat. Right now Ryumyo has trouble at home witht quake and all. So chances are he'll have to bide his time.

The Seoulpa rings, well from what I remember they are so franchised out that most of them don't even see themselves as Souelpa. The few who were htere for the scourge og the Yakuza ranks probably have long died or are ontheir death beds. The rest are probably happy doing wha tthey do. So no, I don't think many odf the Seoulpa are nay closer to revenge then when it went down.

Of course the Butcher plans on bringign the Mafia house back in order. If he doesn't how logn do you think he'll be in power? He wanted control, that is why he had O'Toole wacked in the forst place. It was just bad timign that a mobwar broke out, or was that the reason a war broke out? I don't remeber. Of course he'll try to take back what he lost and then some. Crime syndicates are not in the game for hugs and kisses, they want cash and all there is to get.

The Triads, well I don't know if they are up to anything, other then being criminals. They might be helpign Lung further his goals against Ryumyo, then again not all of them. Last I checked there are a few Triad clans that hate each other, so I would think not all the Triads are working towards a common goal. The Triads are still working on gettign a solid foot in North America, they are tryign to expand to the east, but since that has been a long time strong hold of the La Cosa Nostra they are finding hard going same with the Yaks.

The Vory, well I would think they are already in Seattle seeing that Seattle is a better place then Salish-Shide? for criminal activity, a much bigger market. It will just take time, but with Yamatetsu going to Vladivostok, they may be comeing sooner.

Tamanous, what is there other then flesh farmers, I think they are still the boggie man for right now, something to let the GM play games with. I think though having a supernatural creature in charge of the whole thing seems fitting but a little over done. The Tamanous could have easily started out as a Souelpa ring, then jsut took the flesh farmign on as a whole enterprise it would corner. The Souelpa would pick a field of interest and try to corner it, which seems like the Tamanous.

Chimera, is a Russian super assassin group, the Vory seem to know how to get in touch with them, supposedly Bigio hired them (I think). Other then that I don't know much about them.

Heh, well I guess Frag-o Delux pretty much nailed the state of affairs in Seattle. What resources are out there for the Vory? Is another huge mob war going to take place when the Watada-rengo makes its move or for the most part are the Yakuza going to be able to keep their disagreements "inhouse" and not show vulnerability to the other syndicates?
