Full Version: Playing a free sprinte ?
Dumpshock Forums > Discussion > Shadowrun

Hi, they talk about free sprite in unwired but there is no rules to play them ?
Is it like an AI with resonance ?

Can an admin change the topic to Free Sprite ?
Jaid
free sprites make lousy player characters because they don't advance by karma, they advance by an easily-renewable (up to a point) resource which should be extremely easy to barter for, and have no particular need to actually go on shadowruns.

Hum that's now how I read them. Just like Free Spirit they could be nice to play.

free sprites advance by eating registered sprites. free sprites have all kinds of amazing stuff to offer to technomancers; in fact, simply allowing the technomancer to watch counts as a submersion ordeal (about the only good one, at that). they can also offer services like sustaining threading indefinitely (though simply allowing one day would seem more likely) or boosting the CF, because they can offer all registered services.

there is no need for the sprite to shadowrun to advance. they don't require money. they don't require karma.
