We run a campaign in Seattle 2072, and since the GM randomly rolled the month to start in and came up with October, we have just had the big elections.
The actual winner is important for neither the GM nor the game, but before we roll it up randomly, I´d like to know if there is any official information on who won it - or any nice fine stories that I could publish in the in-game newscolumn that we have on our website (which I would gladly point you to, but I don´t really think any of you speak Czech...)
thanks for any suggestions,
mielikki from Czech Republic

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but aren't elections in November?

One of my fellow player's characters won it. He's a Drake. Have fun with that.

Just kidding, but yeah, I would like to know as well. Other than that, it's Cole in '72!
Edit: Full Name was Colin MacMannus, ran in UCAS.

Yes, specifically the Tuesday between Nov 2nd and Nov 8th and Inaugurations are held in January.

Sorry for not being specific, if I am not mistaken, the 2072 election should be on the 8th of November - which is the exact date that we ended the last session on.
Judging by the article in Seattle 2072, I thought it would be Angela Colloton from Republicans running against Ramsay McMulkin from Technocrats?

The GDs have probably left this deliberately vague (so as to allow GMs to make their own conclusions) but will probably publish an official result in future books (that screw up your campaign timeline)...

Then I guess we will just have to live with whatever result we chose - just didn´t want to contradict something already published...
Thanks for all the responses!

Easy: political scandal / voting fraud ousts whoever you decide wins and leaves the other in power.

I'm making a note here- "huge success"?

Oh, god, not that again.
Although it is a catchy song.
Anyways, I'm pretty sure there'll be either an election supplement or at least a good article on it somewhere to tell us who won, later on. Been sai already. If you want to go ahead, have Colloton run against whoever you want - I think someone on the thread has the name already.

Man. I was hoping someone would say, "Thank you for assuming the party escort submission position" referencing the
updates they
made in the last few days.
But apparently no body here saw that.
