I am a new member and would like to add a signature. I get the error message:
"
The error returned was:
You are not allowed to use this part of the board.
"
I am also not allowed to message an administrator. When I click "Contact the forums administrator" I get the error message:
"
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
forums@dumpshock.com
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 <forums@dumpshock.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table (state 14).
"
So, does anyone know how to reach an administrator? Or, at least how to get permission to add a signature?

There is a sub-forum at the bottom of the page meant for things like bug reports and feature requests.
*I forgot about the whole probationary poster thing. I believe personal messaging and sigs are locked out until you're upgraded via posting.

to avoid spams, ghost accounts and stuff like that, you are allowed to change these settings when you reach 10 posts, if I'm not mistaken.

You aren't in the group for permissions to work with your profile till you get to ten posts.
Blame spam PMs.

Great - thanks so much!
Paradoxically, if I tie this forum up with five more posts I can add a signature?

Well, the thing about sigs is that they get added to every post you make, so having a big sig is an easy and lazy way around flood controls.

...and that makes 10. Sorry, everyone! And, truly, thanks for the information.
