Doing a little studying on aircraft systems the other day and something came to me here it is what do you think.

Inertial Navigation GPS Uplink upgrade

Essence .1
Cost: 25,000 nuyen.gif
SI: 1.5

The IN unit is an upgrade to the existing Cyber GPS uplink. By adding memory to the unit as well as a ring laser gyro accelerometers the IN unit can fill in the gaps caused by reception blockage of the GPS unit itself. When GPS sat signal strength reception is low the IN unit engages its system to keep the user's map location updated until the user can recieve signal strength again. Particularly useful for ops underground, mountainous areas or when sat reception might be jammed.

Considering that there is already an inertial nav ware is already available (orientation system .5 essence, 15K) this thing costs a bit too much. assuming that the 'orientation system' is the inertial nav system itself plus a bit of memory and a display link, we would guess that the inertial nav system system itself would be around .25 - .3 essence and 10-12K nuyen.gif .
