I'm currently making another character and was wondering where i can get names or if anyone knows any for female goth or vampire characters.
The reason why i say vampire is becuase i think vampire names could work for a goth character.
Please, anyone help.
Thanks alot any help appreciated.

Stand by the window with a book of names. Begin reading aloud. Whenever you read a name and a crow outside caws, that's a goth name.

I have to admit many goth's suck, because they are too self-piteous to be worth anything. Angry Goths though, are indeed a different animal

Angry Goths are pretty cool for a punk like me to hang out with. I know one who's more disrespectful and violent than me, and I once stabbed a guy in the eye with my mohawk.

Let's see... I once met a woman named Suffer (iirc). That sounded like a pretty Goth Name. And it rolled off the tongue well. After saying it twice, you didn't even remember that it was a word rather than a name.
And the biggest goths I know are named... Jennifer and Phil. Just goes to show you.

My soul, like burned sausage, is black with regret.
My skin, like dead things, is alabaster with lack of vitamins
My hair, like my soul, is black with cheap dye...
You get the picture. Most "goth's" are just self hating emo kids. This does not stop the occasional goth chick from being rediculously hot. Being punk means that sometimes they will agree to date you. (As opposed to another limp wristed, lace wearing, pansy boy)
Oh, and you can't get more gothic than Marvin. That name just radiates fear and depression and general spookiness.

If you really want Gothic names, there are lots of good ones. Cunigast, Braga, Sigismund, Theodoric, Fridigern, the ever popular "wulf" variants... Wulfric, Wulfegar, Wulfijis, Gunthawulf, etc.
Or, for the ladies: Areagne, Valdamerca, Wilgefortis, Athalaswintha, Brunhild, and so on.
-- Æðelwulf (a Saxon, but I hang with Rhinegoths... they'd call me "Athalawulf")

VANDALS damn it! The VANDALS (hence origin of word for someone who likes to destroy stuff)sacked Rome...though they were a sub-tribe of the Visigoth family.
More vampire names: Sanchez, Leon, Chatchi, 8-Ball, Guido, Silky, Huggy Bear, Lemonjello, Cocheese ect...

C'mon... you guys are actually telling me there are goths out there even sadder than I first thought who RENAME themselves with angsty-sounding names? Sheesh. Did mommy not love them very much when they were children or what? I mean, beleive me, i understand about having a name you dont like (for I am he who is named... Jeremy), but if you really want to change your name, get a fraggin' nickname or earn a handle, don't just pick something poncy sounding out of the air. There isn't even a word strong enough to describe how totally pretentious that is!
Anyway, back on topic - if you want good names for goths, given their tendency to apparently rename themselves, just look through key parts of the bible or other religious texts. They've always got some wicked-kewl demonic sounding names in there which will do for a vamp. Alternatively, anything in latin works well. Either that or do what the real goths seem to be doing - get a theasaurus and look up words that mean 'dark', 'broody', 'deep' or are synonymous with 'ponce'.
note - despite my regular abuse of goths I do agree with an earlier posting someone made about angry goths vs. depressed goths. Angry goths are at least funny and don't take themselves at all seriously. Its usually pure affectation with depressed ones and it drives me as batty as them all dressing up like vampires when 90% of them are sodding vegetarian. I dunno why, but that just makes me mad.
Anyone notice how goths come in two sizes as well? Really skinny or very very large. We distinguish between them using 'goth' and 'goth-lite' in my home town (and have you ever noticed how you always either get a goth accompanied by a goth lite, or a pack of one kind or the other, and nothing inbetween?). Ah, the behavioural studies of the Greater Lipsticked Angst-Ridden Goth, commonly known as 'the pretentious arse'...
Don't get me wrong. Some of my best friends are goths, and I forgive them because they're my friends, same as they forgive me for being a crusty hippy with an anger management problem. And I do admire the goth dress sense - when they aren't trying to look like a slightly wet vampire, they are the best dressed variety of metalhead imho. But christ, what is with all the angst? I got bullied at school, I have a stupid name, my dreams are so far beyond my reach i gave up years ago, but do you see me poncing around with a 'more depressed than thou' attitude and bad hair? Well, maybe the bad hair...
