I assume this means they give some info on non-rigger drivers but I can't find the info. Is it not there or am I just an idiot?

Just some advice, you may want to use the SR3 tag. I almost skipped right over this topic because it wasn't there.
As to your question, aside from the various rules that are consistent regardless of rigged status, I think this mostly refers to the Life in the Fast Lane section, which has a bunch of stuff on autonav and GridGuide.
Edit: where by "a bunch of stuff" I don't actually mean all that much stuff. Non-Riggers can still use the vehicle customization, advanced vehicle rules, etc., but I think the description of the book as having stuff specifically for them is a poor one.
