When jumped in do you use the gunnery skill to fire drone mounted weapons or do you use the appropriate gun skill e.g. heavy weapons?

All mounted weapons are used with gunnery.

Only if the drone has arms/hands and uses the guns unmounted and normaly equipped you use the real skills.
