Up and coming runners are ones who may not be street legends yet, but who are good at their jobs while being able to at least function outside of their main role. Generally, a 400 BP or slightly higher character who is neither a hyper-specialist, nor overgeneralized to where they are not as optimal in their main function.

I'm not saying there is anything inherently wrong with the latter two approaches, only that I would classify them as less experienced runners.

More experienced runners could react to newer runners in a number of different ways. They could be protective, contemptuous, bitter at their idealism (contrasted with their own cynicism), etc. I would recommend that if your character is more experienced, he could fall into a mentor-type role to these neophytes.

cool i have my base archtype but am revamping parts of his story and abilities to fit into this and shouldint be too hard while he does specialize soem he isint bad in none specilized areas. he may not be a hacker but he can use computers as needed. Alot of his experiance is from prior organized crime experiance so in his mind he is kinda on the next level down below gangs. [notes crime syndicates do not look up to runners]
