The game I play in is slightly higher level then a normal game and has the following differences

500BP build
No restriction on money spent if it’s within your build points
Perception is a free skill equal to your intuition

Concept – A Yak boss in Seattle decided to elevate himself further by creating his own Oni honour guard to use in negotiation with rivals and give him some more face amongst the other bosses. As this boss was heavily invested in bio tech firms the young Oni were all implanted and enhanced to speed up their training and ability in combat.

A chance building fire caused by a hacker disrupting the power supplies during a data steal allows a few of the candidates to escape including one exceedingly reckless Oni going by the name of Speed Demon (due to his unfortunate colouring and general demeanour). Two years later word has started spreading back to the Yaks that there is new talent coming up in the runner community including a very strong and fast Oni just coming into maturity.

Any thoughts? I've tried to keep him not just a one trick pony and flexible in a few areas but still with some chance of growth

get a datajack, at the very least. the number of options you open up with one are well worth the low cost. and it would make a lot of sense for the yaks to install a datajack, because it would make the application of a personafix that much easier (obviously he got out before they gave him his).

weapon wise, he should probably pick up a shock glove. those things are very useful to have.

Alright, so, various suggestions:
First off, either raise or lower your strength by 1 point. Even numbers give no advantages for damage, so you're better off dropping a point to pull up more BP, or raising it a point to get the extra damage.
Second, small error, but your P track is 11, not 12, because the bone density only adds body for the sake of soak tests, not for any other function of body.
Third, I'd suggest dropping negotiation by 1 to two, and using the BP you save to turn it into the influence group. It costs you one point of negotiation to pick up con and leadership at 2. Similarly you might want to try and rustle up 2 more BP to turn computers 1 and Data search 1 into the electronics group. Having hardware is nice because it'll let you bypass low grade maglocks, though you're unlikely to do much with software. Still, just something to consider.
Fourth, I'd drop alpha. It is a fairly big price hike for a fairly small essence drop when you still have over half your essence left over. That frees you up to get plenty of other things to help out. Platelet factory and trauma damper come to mind to increase survivability. Maybe some dermal sheathing (remember, cyber is half essence cost when you have more bio than cyber) to pick up your armor a few more point.
E, pump at least one of your skills up to 6, or two to 5. Skills are a better deal to get them high with BP, so you may as well take advantage of that. Survival and Navigation is another one of those that you could convert into a skill group.
F, try and avoid skills at 1 or 2 when possible, they are a horrid karma:BP ratio for you.
Oh, nearly forgot, grab improved range finding (mod) for your guns. Combined with hawkeye it makes sure you'll almost never have to worry about range penalties. Even max range with no aiming is only a -2, and long and below is no penalty.

Okay, that's all I can think of off hand.

From a pure min/max point of view, you should drop a point of Strength and get maybe another point of edge.

After all, Unarmed Combat and Blades damage stays the same with Str 7 and you don't have a single skill that uses Strength as attribute.
