So, I pre-ordered the game from steam forever ago, was real disappointing when it got delayed, and then haven't played it until yesterday even though it came out a while ago now.
Haven't had a chance to get past a couple of the training missions, but it seems like a fun game. I like that you don't have unlimited time to think about the response to everything people say, gives a bit more of a real flow to the conversations.
In this time though, I've already found some things that seem like they would be unbelievably easy to fix, and yet are exceptionally annoying. First, I hate that the mouse sensitivity for movement and menus can't be separated. To get the sensitivity high enough to feel comfortable in the menus, I find myself doing nothing than pirouetting around while trying to move. I also despise the hacking game, because trying to place one of the codes with the mouse is absurdly frustrating because there is a very slight delay to the code's movement and it has a very sluggish feel to it. The number of times I've messed up a hack (like an hour or less into the game) because the mouse code moved off by one square is astonishing. This also extends somewhat to the lockpicking, the movement of the tumblers has a very sluggish feel.
Those are the only two real gripes I have with it so far. The first one is a minor annoyance, but the second can be near game breaking when hacking seems like it will be coming up very often.
Anyone else played the game? Anyone tried a game pad? Seems like the game was really designed around using one.
