I live in Seattle and have a buddy visiting me for the week, we have decided to run around and take pictures of the places listed in Seattle 2072. We figure its worth a laugh to see what sits on the spot of Dante's Inferno today.
My question is, what would you like to see?

Redmond. I'd love to see some pictures and then imagine the buildings and streets 60 years later and in much worse condition.

If I may make some suggestions;
#1: Plan ahead. Make sure you do this 'tour' during the day, when you can get around easilly, and in good weather. At first, choose 5-7 well-accessible sites to start with. Anything else can wait until tomorrow or when you can get to it later.
#2: Use a digital camera, have a back-up storage card with you, and fully-charged extra batteries. You don't have to fill the card with shots of one site from every angle, just 2-3 for each will do.
#3: Take food breaks. Rest when you can. You do NOT have to do it all in one day.

I was going to say the Arcology, but it'd be kind of hard to take pictures of God knows how many square blocks.

I'd stick to Seattle itself, trying to do all the locations would be insane

The Aztech Pyramid sits on what is now Belltown. Also knows has my favorite drinking area

I would say the hotels that actually exist, Ork underground (the underground tour is fun anyway), Matchsticks and some of the more popular clubs.

I'd take a pyramid over Belltown any day.
Now what would be wiz chummer, would be an iphone or android augmented reality app, showing the famous shadowrun landmarks overlaid in the camera screen.

Does the Fremont Troll still exist in 2072? How about the Lenin Statue? (If so, does Taco Del Mar survive as well?)

I honestly don't know what I'd recommend (other than Club Penumbra)...but all I have to say is take a LOT of pictures of Shadowrun stuff and post them so we can see!

Y'know, I was wondering this myself recently. I scoured the Seattle books and could find no mention, which is a bit of a surprise--I'd have thought a writer would have leapt on it over the years.
Maybe he and the Alabaster Maiden know each other from way back.
