Ha made you look! So I'm on several roleplaying boards and within the last couple months I have heard the term
Shadowmaster
and
Admin
both meaning GM... Heh White-Wolf has Storyteller so why not

I say bring on the crazy new term for a Shadowrun GM!

I think we should start referring to them as Johnsons.

My team calls them just GMs or DMs (Game Master/Dungeon Master), but they always refer to me as the Shadow Lord or Shadow Master.

I had a secret agent-y LARP that ran for a while here (rules available at RPGNow as soon as I get around to finishing the layout). The GM or GMs are called The Man.

Personally, I like to go by GKE. This, of course, stands for "God King Emporer". If I can't get them to respect me, I may as well force them to fear me.

I normally just want to refer to anyone running a game as a DM, but I'm cognizant of that having a negative connotation if used for different games. So, I tend to use DM for DnD and GM for anything else.
There's a little joke at my table. Since I was reading advance copies of SR4 and DnD4 before any of us started playing either and I participate in forums for both and I had commented on certain rules during game sessions and was looked at to help give official rulings, my friends all referred to me as having wrote the book. So, whether I am running a game or playing a game, I often hear, "Ask deek, he wrote the book/rules."
Which is fine by me. When I do run a game and someone disagrees, I can easily joke it off and say, "Well, you know, I did write the rules. I just didn't get time to put out the errata." And we move on.
