Full Version: Biodrone viability (in a low payout game)

Assuming a payout of 4-5k/run is there a trick to making a Biodrone more viable than a traditional drone or shapechanged runner? Since the payout is low it seems viable for a mega-monster paracritter option like a Warform Chimeric Gabriel Hound or to gamble on a 50k nuyen cybereyes/cyberears equipped pigeon as a spy but I'm trying to analyze if its better than a traditional metal drone. The Stirrup interface counting as Move By Wire is interesting since that includes skillwires, but it sure is expensive for those extra (critter) passes. Goads are cheap but CAST to make the critter not meander when not actively prodded isn't.

Anyone got any perspective? Remember, this is for a low payout game.

Alley Cat, duct tape, demo charge, and a radio detonator. It might not go exactly where you want it to but it IS cheap. Sort of like a North Korean "Smart" bomb.

Small child/captured enemy + moderately-concealable bomb + Control Mind.
