Using the forum for GM advice and campaign ideas, has given birth to a question I've been pondering since yesterday. Is there a forum for writers and aspiring novelists to discuss their craft, bounce ideas off each other, and get honest opinions and constructive criticism and advice? The reason I'm asking is I'm writing a sci-fi novel, and don't exactly have a mentor or other writers to run it by. Any help? Oh, and sorry if this isn't the right place to put this thread.

I hit www.critiquecircle.com . I'm not 100% happy with it, but it's the best I've found so far.

If it pertains to Shadowrun, this is an excellent place.
Otherwise, there are plenty of writer's forums around.
Of course, there's a bunch of writers around here as well, they might be inclined to offer you some help. I know I'll be happy to give whatever you have a look and offer thoughts, I fear I'm not too much of a prose critic though. Tends to be better than my SR rules fu though, for what that's worth. nyahnyah.gif

The old classic shadowrun writers forum.

I strongly suggests DeckerM's shadowrun site and the excellent story "A year in seattle".
