Fictional Forbes Top 25 Fake Companies

I wonder how the big 10 would rank.
Xahn Borealis
I thought a megacorp would actually consist of several of the sort of companies on that list.
Abstruse
The Big 10 would be in the top 15 with CHOAM being the only one to compete if those are gross revenues rather than net.

CHOAM has a lot of power outside of raw buying potential, too. They control interstellar shipping, including passenger transport. Think about the implications of that for a moment.

what about Slay Industries ?
or the Megacorps from Battlelords of the 23rd Century ?
or Weyland-Yutani ?
What about OCP (although very small compared to the other Galaxy-Spanning Multi-Mega-Corps )

Weyland-Yutani is on the list. If it's not, it may be on one of the previous lists. But I remember seeing it.

It didn't make the Top 25. And seeing as how they managed to get bought out by Walmart, I say good riddance, sir! nyahnyah.gif

I think "top 25" means the best known / most noteworthy, not the largest. Its not like they actually dug through every RPG, manga, and fanfic out there...

[edit - some googl;ing shows those are from Star Wars. Yeah, its maybe surprising the list doesn't have least one Star Wars corp. Then again, those corps aren't exactly high profile with the general public. Of course, neither is Chaom. However, the rest are practically pop culture icons, obvious to people with minimal exposure.]

At least the Incom T-65 should be pretty well known.

No Reynholm Industries?
Cenobite
I'm surprised they put in Wayne Enterprises, but not Lexcorp. Lexcorp has the equivalents to Microsoft, Wal-Mart, and Ares as divisions, as well as a lot of other stuff.

Technically the Spacing Guild controls shipping, tho CHOAM handles interstellar trade (they lease transport capacity from the guild).

Nope. No one knows what the hell they actually MAKE. Other than pointless meetings where war is declared on something.

I thought they were connected somehow... my bad, I guess

Yea but they make like 16 trillion pounds a quarter.
