When you summon a Spirit, do the spirit arrive instantly at the end of the complex action?

Yes.

On the astral plane though. So after the complex action to summon the spirit, you need a simple action to command it and the spirit needs a complex one to materialize if the task requires interaction with the physical plane.

So if you have more than one pass per round you can summon with the first (complex) and give him an order with the second (simple).

Correct. The spirit's response to the order would take time, depending on the action required. If it had to materialize, it would take a complex action to do so, and be able to act the next time it was free to spend a complex action.

Thats why you summon your spirits and have them materialize before the shooting starts.

Binding takes a number of hours equal to the force of the spirit. - Details are on P.184 of SR4A. It also requires materials equal to 500x the force of the spirit.

"Binding requires a ritual of a number of hours equal to the force of the spirit. The ritual materials, available from a talismonger, cost 500¥ times the Force of the spirit. Magical lodges are not required for binding, but they are often used out of habit." (SR4A, p 188).
Agh! Ninja'd!
