Full Version: Unbound Spirit Spell Sustaining?

Hey guys,

I was hoping to clear something up...
Can an unbound spirit sustain spells for the summoner?

Unbound Spirit Services
Combat
Perform Physical Task
Continuous Use of a Power
Remote Service

Bound Spirit Services
Any Unbound Spirit Service
Aid Sorcery
Aid Study
Loaned Service
Spell Binding
Spell Sustaining

Does spell sustaining or aiding sorcery count as "continuous use of a power" or can only bound spirits do that kind of thing?
I hate to think that it's gonna cost 500 x force to summon something for less than 1 combat's worth of services.
I'm not sure if it's just wishful thinking or if the book is unclear.

Only Bound Spirits can Sustain Spells, as you indicated...
However, if you have an Unbound Spirit of Man with Innate Spell, he can use, and sustain, his spell on you as a Service (Continuous Use of a Power).

Hope that this helps. smile.gif

It does.
Thanks.

And that's why spirits of man may well be the best spirit type, at least in the main book.
