Are the attribute bonuses that the Muscle Augmentation and Muscle Toner bioware give you natural or augmentations? In other words, can you use Muscle Toner IV on a Troll with 5 QCK to achieve 9 QCK, or does it cap out at 8, with the Attribute Maximum for trolls?

The official SR website adress this question on the FAQ. They say:
"Strictly speaking, bioware cannot raise an attribute's natural rating above the Attribute Maximum."
"If you desire a more high-powered game, then you can ignore this rule and allow bioware to exceed Attribute Maximums. The character's natural attribute ratings should never be allowed to exceed the Attribute Maximums, however, and you may wish to inflict bioware-stuffed characters with system overstress or other excessive bioware drawbacks"
