All,
Does anyone have a picture or sketch of a Fomori? I'm not looking for anythin too high quality but I'd like something more like the pictures of the main races that present in the SR1 BBB.
We have a player in our group that is playing a formori freak, and I don't hink he knows how freakish the character really is. My plan is to place the base-line fomori next to a modified picture of his freakish fomori.
I say that the character is freakish due to it (the character is a hermaphordite) having Elongated limbs (both arms and legs), Celerity, and Satyr Legs (with hooves).
If someone with some artistic ability wants to have fun and try to draw these (the base-line and the freak) side-by-side for me that would be awesome, but an existing picture would do fine and I can try to modify a base-line into the freak using Gimp or another drawing program. I'm no artist but I think I will be able to get my point across.
Thank all.

Considering fomori are consistently described as more attractive trolls without the dermal armor, why is a photo required to "prove" that fact? Just point to the description of one.
And if he doesn't think he's a freak despite being a Changeling to boot, well, a photo's not going to convince him of anything.

Some people are more visual than others. Sometimes it's just much easier to see a picture (even a rough sketch) than to picture it in your mind.

Hermaph-...
One of my players ran a cybered phys ad elfen hermaphroditic porn star. Also, was addicted to Nova Coke...
Why do I let players do whatever they want?

OneTwoPicture one I won't argue against, although it's not real detailed anyway. However, Goliath and TNT are clearly baseline trolls, and not Fomori.

OneTwoNeither of those are fomori. The first is just a big guy, and the second clearly has dermal deposits.
This one comes the closest that I've ever seen a picture for (and is one I use for one of my most favorite characters, too), though he's a bit anachronistic.
As an aside, that artist has a lot of interesting pieces. Another
one of my favorites demonstrates what a satyr would look like if they actually wore pants.

There is a picture of a Fomori in Runner's Companion. Page 56, the picture of the Troll variants. The woman in robes, with a staff and casting a spell is a Fomori. Although it doesn't help much, since they aren't the more realistic pictures we've been getting a lot lately.
Here's to hoping Mihoshi Oni gets into the supposed second edition of Street Legends.

The old Shadowrun Companion from SR3 days showed much better pictures for the metvarients.

OneTwofor the second one, it appears that only the female is supposed to be a Fomori, while the male is clearly a base-line troll, as others have mentioned.

Nah. Check the gal's shoulder, cheek and possibly the ridge of her nose. Those are definitely dermal growths marking her as a baseline Troll.

No Fomori in there, just Fomorians, those HMHVV2-infected trolls who got renamed later into
Fomoraig.

If you're looking for official pictures, the only one I know of that doesn't look like it was drawn by a kid who forgot to take his meds can be found in the old Shadowrun Companion by Jim Nelson in the section talking about metavariants. He's just a very broad troll with no signs of dermal deposits, a derby, and an Irish looking beard. There's nothing about them that really marks them different from trolls other than the lack of the deposits.

Looking at the heights and weights in Shadowrun Companion, Fomori are the shortest and lightest of the troll metavariants, in addition to their lack of dermal deposits. So they are the least intimidating of trolls, appearance-wise. But that is a relative thing - they are still typically over seven feet tall, over 500 pounds in weight, and have tusks, horns, and disproportionately longer arms and a more massive build compared to a human.
So the changeling freak in question would be even taller (a wakyambi is 0.4 meters taller than a normal elf, so a fomori changeling with elongated satyr legs would probably be at least 9 feet tall, assuming average height to begin with). And the extra arm length would be freakish-looking, because trolls already have orangutan-like arms to begin with. This guy would be a 9 feet tall bruiser with knuckles reaching the ground.

If you look closely at the 1st picture you'll see that the "big guy" has horns. That says troll to me. so I'd say thats a fomori

While a Fomori is technically a troll, a troll is not necessarily a Fomori.

Yes...but I'd still call it a fomori since it seems to lack dermal deposits as well as the ugly.

In that case, I guess a duckling is a fomori, too, since it "lacks dermal deposits as well as the ugly."
If that's a troll of any kind, he must be a freakish midget since he barely looks like he's breaking 6' in height based upon the car and the infant he's inexplicably throwing through it.

A cartoon drawn for giggles to sorta illustrate that a troll can throw anything through a car doesn't really lend well to identifying what it is or isn't.
