1.) Shedim are spirits, and therefore immortal, and free spirits to boot, so they don't worry about time limits for services. They can possess forever, as long as the body holds up.

I hadn't thought about Regeneration, but overall it seems like it all works about as I was thinking/hoping.
The game us going to be a Fallout style survival game set in Chicago. That being said I know everyone will be thinking about bugs, but I'm going to keep bugs to a very minimum. Knowing players, any powerful female NPCs will instantly be suspected as mantids, but this let's me use a different magical threat they won't be thinking of.
I plan to catch them in the middle of a new conflict between the bugs and a Master Shedim. Aside from FAB and bugs the desolation of Chicago send prime for shedim to me.
