Random thought for the day, sitting at my desk waiting for the last 10 minutes to go by, and playing with silly putty (one of those "stress reliever" things they handed out).

So the similarities struck me when i dropped it, and then i remembered how well it bounces, but then runs when you let it sit. Shouldnt take to much manipulation to put a form of it into a packet for armor lining purposes, homemaade Gelpak mods...LOL...though i do doubt the integrity of my thoughts at this time of the day...

On topic, pretty much any non-Newtonian fluid would work for that purpose.
