Season 3 Episode 11

Well, at least Spike's getting better. He didn't expect people to give him things this time, or try to take them by force, he just tried to trade services for them. Of course, they were services he had little intention of providing, so...

Well, hopefully he learned more this time. And it was nice to see all the pets again. Especially Tank, and especially RD and Tank interacting.

i found the episode to be pretty meh . .

The plot was so-so, but I liked seeing Tank again, as well as how they managed to include Zecora.

I mean, he was basically the man of the hour when it came down to saving the Empire. What kind of ingratitude juice have Cadance and Armor been chugging up there?

It's not the real Cadence, obviously. That's just the changeling queen.

Next episode will deal with how the mane six were replaced with changelings, who now have access to the elements of harmony (since Celestia left them in Ponyville)

Somehow, I see this as a bad idea. Both in terms of storytelling, and practicality.

Twilight's more useful as a unicorn avatar of the Element of Magic than than as an Alicorn. We've seen that Alicorns can get their asses handed to them by things the Elements can handle. Her suddenly becoming an Alicorn would drive a massive wedge between her and the others; it couldn't not. So unless it winds up Alicorning the Mane Six as a group..... (And if it does, Rarity needs to get her butterfly wings back.) Then that would inevitably result in the Elements of Harmony breaking, if for no other reason than that five of them are mortal and one isn't.

I've wondered what Derpy would look like as an Alicorn... But the Derpicorn is even funnier.

It's like Luna decided to take the piss out of someone, or couldn't be bothered meeting an arsehole, and drafted Derpy to sit on a throne, look regal, and utterly ignore anything they say whilst looking as silly as possible.

[e]Or, possibly... Luna and Celestia are mysteriously missing and the Doctor put her there, along with some kind of obfuscation field device (possibly inside the plunger's head, or on the tiara,) to make people think she was a real princess, to buy him time to find the real ones without a panic ensuing.

You really need one of those plot of the day tables, where you roll some dice to decide the outcome...

I would recommend Project Horizons with 2 warning.
1.There are parts of it that make even the darkest parts of FO:E seem like sunshine and rainbows
2.It passed FO:E:s wordcount somewhere around chapter 37, currently last chapter is 53 and the story propably isn't even close to end yeat.
