"If we keep the drones at the entrance that we use in the sewers, how soon can they get to us once we are engaged, since stealth will no longer be a concern."

"Fifteen seconds."

"I think that's enough to keep them as backups...how many do you have?"

"Only the Doberman is suitable for ground support within the sewers, but I have aerial back-up, as well as the batteries on the Bison itself."

"Ok. So we kinda go with what we talked about before. We'll have the doberman in the sewers as ground support/backup, and the ariel drone and your Bison will be distractionary once we go live. If you can bombard the surface of the facility with ordinance, it will divide their forces as they prepare for assualt from above and below."

"Affirmitive. Five, how quickly can you acquire heavy ordinance? Specifically, Ares Zuni II HEMs or GM-Mitsubishi Outlaw Block I or II HEMs?"

Father whistles slightly, "I can put my feelers out. I can contact an arms dealer or two and put out the word, but I don't know how long it'll take them to find what you're looking for. Probably a few days at the least."

"Don't see why we have to engage the bugs directly, if we can avoid it. Large amounts of explosives are supposed to work on the fraggers, so I still say we get the data, leave a present, and get the frag out of there. Damn sight more sane than trying to shoot the fraggers..." Warpath grumbles.

"I am all for leaving a large amounts of explosives behind. And not engaging the bugs directly."

"Agreed. Base, do you have anyone of assessing damage to the facility and or the bugs after an explosion?" replies Father.

"Only via external visuals. What did you have in mind?"

"I hate to make this seem more difficult, but bug spirits are SPIRITS...what's to say that bringing the building down on top of them will do anything more than force them into their spiritual form. We're supposed to DESTROY them."

"Base: was only trying to figure out how we were going to know how much damage we did to them if we did blow the facility. I think she's got a point, too. Are you an Onna equipped to deal with the astral form of the spirits if we blow their physical bods to smithereens?"

Onna's voice is firm and steady. "I can destroy the spirits in either world."

"As can I, but it would force us to be the only means to damage them further. That would leave the team responsible for dealing with any mundane threats remaining as well as working to get us out safely. If we fail, you wont be able to defend yourself very effectively."

"Then I guess we'd better not fail. Anything else to concider?" Father says with a wry grin.

"If the team is separated during the withdrawal, what time and location will we rendezvous at? If we are able to effect a team withdrawal, what safehouse are we planning to use to regroup prior to contacting the Johnson? Is everyone on the intrusion team properly equipped for this mission?"

"I say we have three locations. One 4 hours after the run, and another 8 hours after the run. If you can't make either, then we will have a last resort 24 hours after the run. The locations are pretty easy. Theres a park a few blocks away. It's public, has virtually no walls, so access would be excellent. Theres a basketball court in the center with a couple of benches. If the run goes south, or we get separated in the extrac, meet-up there 4 hours later. If you can't make the 4 hour mark, go to Freeway park. If not that one, hit Pikes Place, the magazine rack at the first gate. All these places have plenty of exits and entrances. If for any reason you are compromised, or forced to go to these meets give us a signal. Keep your left hand in your left pocket. Soka?"

"Base, what are you listing as required equipment? I have weapons, armor, comms."

"Whatever the ground combat element feels is appropriate. I just wanted to make sure the question was asked."

:: Silk shifts in the seat within the van as she watches the elf speak. Her eyes unfocus slightly as she assences his aura, almost as second thought while she responds on comms. ::

"I've got rating 8 comm gear, sufficent armor with Rhytheniums, though with the animal senses they have, that might not be as effective as I'd like. I don't mess with weapons so Im not quite sure what else I'll be required to have."

Onna takes a moment to think over her things. "I have my swords and armor. The helmet has the machine to speak to others and it has protection from others hearing it, like Silk. I need very little else for working."

Warpath stretches and yawns. "Yeah, weapons comm, armor, ruthenium. I'm pretty much good to go."

"Me too, I keep my safe houses well stocked."

Ayo chuckles, the sound low and almost gutteral.

"Looks like I'm the one running behind on this one. I've got weapons, armor, and Comms, same encryption ratings as Silk, no ruthenium."

"That clears the last of the questions on my list. I am ready to roll whenever the ground combat element is."

"I need half an hour to grab my stuff from my place."

"As I mentioned before, all I'm looking for is some kind of waterproof casing for my deck so that it remains safe during our incursion. Other than that, I'm good to go, I just need some time to get my gear together." Father replies.

"How much time, exactly? We can just meet somewhere when everyone's got the appropriate gear."

"Now that we have the team assembled, Three, I'd prefer to keep it that way. I can make the necessary stops for those personnel who require gear. Also, Five, I have a dry bag you can use. You won't be able to use any gear you put inside, but it'll protect it from contamination."

"Base, that's fine. I just need a way to keep my deck clean until I need it. Then I can take it out and use it. And, since we're not planning to extract using the sewers, I shouldn't need it again afterwards." Father replice and then turns to Ayo, "All I need is my gun. It's back at my place. Had I known we were sticking together, I'd have gotten it last time, but that's okay. At least Base knows the way this time," he finishes with a grin.

"If that settles things, then, we can leave individual vehicles here and I'll make the required rounds to recover equipment. We can accomplish gear-up and checks enroute to the target location."

The sliding passenger door to the Bison unlocks in preparation for the arrival of the team upstairs.

"All right then. Sounds like a plan, just give me a moment to change clothes." Shadow opened a door of the living room that led into a small bedroom. He closed the door behind him.

A few minutes later he came out wearing his combat gear, boots, canvas pants, shirt and armor. Along with his LBV, ammo, pistol and assault riffle.

"Let's go."

"Oh shit!" Father interjects as everyone gets into the car. "I never even thought of this. I don't have any armor," he comments sheepishly. "This is the first time I've had to do anything with an onsite incursion in abou seven years, and I'm afraid to say that I haven't bothered to keep up with the latest SecureTech in that time. Anyone think they're my size, or should I just stay behind the big boys?"

Grendel pulls out into traffic, enroute to Father's house first. His voice reaches out from the internal speakers on the Bison.

"Check utility locker two. I have a couple of securetech longcoats in there. One of them should fit you."

Warpath nods. "Let's mount up. I've got my gear."

"Excellent. Thanks, base."

"Base, while we're in route, can you summarize the insertion plan for everyone? The planning got kind of broken up, and I think it would be good to hear it all strung together."

Onna stands and moves towards her duffel bag. "I have all my gear here now. I will just need a place to change out of sight of others. I am ready." She opens it while speaking and quickly makes sure everything is present and accounted for.

Grendel shifts Onna to the backup frequency to maintain privacy.

"The bathroom in the hab section is reasonably private, if small. It should work for your purposes."

Reconnecting them both to the main push, he throws up an overhead surveillance still of the target facility.

"As near as I can tell, Three, the plan calls for the ground combat element to infiltrate the facility through the sewers, neutralize the devil rat guard animal, enter the facility from below, hack into the onsite network to retrieve the data, and then escape the same way."

"Sound like a plan, let me lead the way so I can disable any electronics."

Utilizing the location stored in the onboard GPS, Grendel navigates through Seattle traffic to Father's place. The Condor precedes the Bison, scanning the area for any signs of surveillance or security forces.

"Who's next on the pick-up list after Five?"

Warpath gets his kit together and gets ready to go.

"Three. It's out on the edge of the Barren's." He rattles off an address and a few general directions to get Grendel in the general vicinity.

Correllating the address supplied by Three with the onboard GPS, Grendel waits until Father has returned with his gear. Once again the Bison pulls out into traffic, disappearing into the city on its way to a safe house.

Ayohu doesn't take long, 10 minutes seeing him in the door and back out, a case in one hand and a short red duffle bag in the other.

As the vehicle makes the stops through out Seattle for everyone's gear, Onna excuses herself and enters the bathroom with her duffel bag. She begins to unpack and suit up in the small space. She carefully dons each piece of armor and checks over each weapon. She removes a small box and with a few deft touches springs open the lid. Inside is a collection of metal trinkets.

Yuki, it is time. A ripple in the air and a small white fox steps into being as Onna kneels on the floor. Yuki moves to sit by her. She passes her hands over the contents of the box and a network of mana springs up around her. She carefully weaves in Yuki's energies and channels it into 3 of the items. A jade statuette of a buddha, a small jade earring, and ring made entirely of jade. She quickly puts the items on, placing the uncharged ones into a small pouch. Thank you little sister. Wait for my call. With that the fox steps back into the astral.

She emerges dressed like a samurai straight from the trids. A sword set strapped to her waist, bow along her back and a helmet held in her hands. Her hair is tightly braided and coiled back. "I am ready but I need help with the machine in the helmet." She thrusts the helmet to Father neck first, clearly a radio unit is tucked into the build of the headpiece. "Which kami do we require for the work tonight?"

Ayohu borrows the bathroom next, swapping out the Armante suit for typical Shadowrunner garb, including Urban camos and a black overcoat. He takes special care coming out of the cramped space to arrange the pistols, one at his hip and the other tucked under his arm. He tucks the mic for the comm unit under the mask, securing it in place and testing it once.

Father smiles and nods. He adjusts the radio so its frequency corresponds to the frequency currently in use by the team after a few moments of analysis. "It should work fine for you now, little sister," he responds in Japanese.

"Anyone else? Or are we good to go?"
