Generally speaking, plugging your own site on a forum without first getting permission of the forum admin is considered somewhere between "gauche" and "bannable offense" depending on where you are. Especially if you're new and it's one of your first few posts. Especially if it's a drive-by "go to my site!" without taking the time to provide enough content to provoke discussion on the forum.
