Our TM is looking for data bombs (matrix perception test) while in VR space. Now, a TM in VR is always considered to be running "hot" and those initiative bonuses and response bonuses are baked int their living persona stat blocks. He also gets +2 since it's a perception test.
But do they get the additional +2 on all matrix tests for running hot? It doesn't expressly deny it (like it does with the response and init bonuses)...
Just double checking.

Yes, he does. The +2 for all tests for running hot says "all Matrix tests," and this is a test being made in the Matrix.
agreed. matrix perception tests get the hot sim bonus, plus the special technomancer matrix perception bonus.
