Full Version: Archetypes for Demo Games

I often run Shadowrun demonstrations and demo games at conventions, and find it helps new players get into the game if I hand them a well-formed and useful character sheet. The archetypes in the book are OK, but they aren't in the form of a character sheet. The Printouts from NSRCG are good, but they're not in standard character sheet format.

So, I made all the book archetypes into standard format, for me to hand out.

If you'd like copies, check out Archetype Web Page. (Note, the server is case-sensitive. "Adept" works, "adept" does not.)

I'm also soliciting more sample beginning characters for me to hand out. Please send your .sr3 files (not Finalized, please) to "XYZourteamXYZ@comcast.net" (remove the XYZ). Any you send I'll post on my web page, unless you ask otherwise.

/Edit: Does anyone know how to make Internet Explorer print White Text on a Black background correctly? Mine always converts it for printing.
(prior discussion and Egon's great suggestion I use XSL.)

Looks real good, I like it. But like any good critic I have a few "Sugestions" wink.gif
I would put all of the adapts crazy powers in the notes section, actually I'd do that for all of them. Like, note; Low Light Vision, Thermographic Vision, Ignores First Three Boxes Damage....
Ditch the range mods for the guns and use the space for accessories, silencers and the like. Then just photocopy the range mods handout from the back of CC and give it to them.
I'll post more as I think of them. Keep up the good work. smile.gif

Great, I like your ideas. Keep them coming. I'm looking for the best handout I can make.

I'm thinking of putting the formulas for Reaction and Combat pool on the page somewhere. Players feel good when they learn something like that, and many want to learn more.
