As many of you know, the event catalog is up. But, the 'Scramble is nowhere in sight. Are we just not doing it this year, what with 5th ED coming out?

The Scramble no longer exists as you know it. It has been replaced with the Shadowrun LARP which was rolled out at Ohayocon in Jan 2013. It was again ran at COSCON XXV and will be at both Origins and GenCon this year. It is a four hour straight LARP with no tabletop portion. LARP rules and character conversion sheets will be available for download once 5th Edition is released. Additional event related information will be available on the Scream Sheets located at the CGL booth prior to the LARP and at the CDT RPG HQ on the day of. GMs familiar with the LARP rules will be available at various times throughout the conventions.

We will be running SR5 Missions starting at Origins.

For more information on the LARP, you can check out a podcast called Critical Glitch which covers the Ohayocon and COSCON events.

As another note, we are currently working with GenCon to get all of our events posted as there are 60 total SR events available (oh and ignore the 6th-8th edition of SR, it's all 5th).

Thanks for the info! I'm sad to see the scramble go. But, I look forward to the LARP.
