Full Version: Congrats to the CGL crew

Not of this World
So after not buying any new Shadowrun products for the last 8+ years CGL has finally happily sold me on one. To the point where I had to convince my wife that we shouldn't be springing for the Mayan LE at this point (and she hates 4th edition WAY more than I do). I'm going to be disappearing and reading through the book thoroughly for a while, but so far the rules changes have fixed a lot of major issues that I had with the 4th edition system (besides it being a nWoD knock-off). Setting wise I'm not convinced and will probably be houseruling a lot of things back to more traditional Shadowrun. Still at this point I eagerly look forward to the next rules supplement books and am curious to see where the setting goes.

Thanks,

You're welcome.

Gah. Instead of buying more Steam games during the summer sale, I got the PDF instead.

Oh well, someone gifted me FTL and I gifted the SR:R back.

This will (sofar) be the first edition, I will skip.... but I guess there is always collateral. I am very fond of the concepts that made SR4, sadly CGL is not.
