Okay so these have likely been mentioned in the Errata thread, but I'd like to spawn a side-topic on what the hell we're supposed to do with these.

Re: Locksmith and Lockpicking, I'm assuming these are supposed to be the same skill "Locksmith" and mention of Lockpicking is just something that didn't get deleted.

Re: Arcana -- what does this skill do? It's not mentioned anywhere in the book, except for it existing as a skill. Did this get overlooked, or is it a "will be useful in the Magic book" skill that they included in the main book so that people won't have to fix their characters later? What gives?

Arcana, page 142:

QUOTE
Arcana governs the creation of magical formulae used to create spells, foci and all other manner of magical manipulations. Arcana is required to understand formulae that may be purchased over the counter or discovered by other means.

In the Magic chapter, under Initiation, it also mentions it's used for the Arcana+Magic test to determine how long Initiation takes.

As for locksmith/lockpicking, Locksmith covers build/repairing and defeating mechanical locks, and Lockpicking seems to...perhaps have been the old name for the skill by the look of it.

I missed the Initiation bit, but you don't actually use Arcana for learning a formula -- that falls under the primary skill (spellcasting/etc) for the formula type. So it's a skill with exactly one use right now?

Electronic locks, too.

Well, Arcana is used in the creation of ALL Formulae... Spells, Foci, Alchemical preps, etc. So it is a Fairly Broad use.
No different, really, than Assensing, Conjuring, or Spellcasting. *shrug*
