1) Is this within shadowrun's tech?
2) Can you ride it?

You forgot to put zombie in your title.

Yeah. My bad.

Suggestion is that we get hired to retrieve a raptor or similar from a secret Jurassic Park style setup, and naturally my first thought was riding a cyber-t-rex into battle. Just because.

Seems to fall within the rule of cool. Seems legit.

But no DNA has survived of dinosaurs so cloning probably isn't very likely. However, I'd imagine they'd be able to engineer something similar from bird DNA. Genetically engineered giant birds that look like a T-rex. That sounds like it might be moderately plausible enough to work.
Umidori
Why not just go straight for dragon DNA? (Aside from the obvious answer of not wanting to piss off the dragons?)

No Dino DNA has survived.... that the common person knows of... but within the secrets of AAA corporations... you never know wink.gif

Did you ever see the title of a thread and knew who created it without looking? biggrin.gif

Can we get a Transforming model too while it's in the shop?

Finally, something for those pesky traffic jams.....

Don't know if this is DNA, but soft tissues certainly have. Cite-ation. I'm sure that if we've found soft tissues now, they'd be able to find DNA within 60 years.

EDIT: Or hell, if they can deduce enough about the genetic structure from proteins in the material they'd be able to "sci-fi" scientifically recreate the DNA from base-pairs in a lab. It's like reverse-engineering a puzzle by looking at a picture, figuring out the shape of the puzzle pieces, then manufacturing your own pieces printed with the same image.
Kronk2
as of late sr4 custom animals were a thing so, sure, why not? Biodrone? Go ahead!

And building your own is even better as you can improve on Nature's design, like giving your proto T-Rex raptor style forelimbs instead of the stubby limbs it had originally. nyahnyah.gif

Fixed that for you... you're welcome. biggrin.gif

The arm guns are way too small! The need to be bigger and to be Gatling guns... Gatling Gauss rifles, because anything worth doing is worth overdoing!

Flamethrowers are so 20th century you plebe! biggrin.gif

Real, sophisticated, gentlemen go to war armed only with the best. If for not the fact that lasers are affected by the environment so much then I would have have said quad laser cannons on each arm!

Sad that there only ever were 13 episodes made <.<
White Buffalo
Admit it, deep down you want to play a Dino Riders RTS.
Stahlseele
Not just deep down, believe you me.
