yeah, but the phone has a wireless bonus of being able to use it at FTL speeds, such that your orders to it actually go backwards through time and are completed before you can even think of doing them. so, for example, you can react to the alarm after it happens, but still somehow prevent the alarm from going off by shutting it off wirelessly
