Albion Gunsmithies was founded in 1923 by David Albion, a former Royal Enfield engineer with a passion for hunting. The company had its ups and downs over the years, and became increasingly restrained by UK gun laws, as the United Kingdom was its primary market. Gradually, the company fell on hard times, and it 2029, the Crash finished it off.
Of course, that wasn't the end for Albion. As soon as it finally went bankrupt, a coporate raider named Albert Mikkelson bought the company outright. Mikkelson saw a growing market in the firearms industry: the urban poor. Slums were getting so bad people needed a gun just to get by, and many could not pass the requisite background checks for legal ownership. Of course, if the corp making the guns sold directly to illegal arms dealers, that wasn't a concern. Feelers were put out, and the R&D division was re-purposed from hunting rifles and shotguns to more combat oriented gear. Trial runs with arms dealers in many major sprawls began, and ended with success.
Albion firearms are designed to be as cost effective as possible. If a corner can be cut without dropping quality, it will be. For this reason, even in 2075 Albion guns come with no wireless or even wired capabilities, or accessories. Some see this as a opportunity to customize a gun in just the way they want, adding to Albion's popularity. Below are some Albion made weapons.
Albion Model 63: Albion's current production heavy pistol. It's intimidating, but not ostentatious. Fairly unremarkable in most respects.

Albion Model 70: Albion's current mainline SMG. It takes design notes from the Sten and Grease Gun, and uses a side-loading mag that makes left handed use difficult. It's made with stamped metal, and feels cheap.

Albion Model 55: A classic design intended as a hybrid between a regular sawn off shotgun and a heavy pistol. While it is a semi-automatic design, it uses a special mechanism designed to slow cycling speed, due to its low magazine size. It uses Heavy Pistol ranges, the Pistols skill and has a concealability modifier of +2.
