It says any ranged or melee combat. Do you get these 'dice' when resisting spells...body or willpower?

Dodge-able ones, such as indirect combat spells, yes. Direct combat spells, no - there is no defense test for it to add dice to, just a resistance test.

The spells Glyph is talking about that can be dodged include things like Lightning Bolt or Fire Bolt. The ones it does not apply to include spells like Power Bolt or Stun Bolt. Just to be clear.

Combat Sense only applies to Melee and Ranged defense pools. It does NOT apply to damage resistance pools.
