Hey, been trying to use Hero Lab more often as my players bought it for me as a Christmas gift last year to make my life easier.

Was thinking of what to toss as the team for next Saturday's game and originally thought of drones, but the mage in the group doesn't have any offensive spells good against them (manabolt is her only combat spell) so I thought of critters as a better choice.

Was deciding between mutant critters or augmented ones when I thought, Why not do both? There's no rule saying a cybered critter can't later be mutated. It'd be a freaky thing to encounter. Opened hero lab and gave the Eurasian Boar (a real life invasive species for the state of New York) some cyber and went on to focus on the mutations when I realized something. I couldn't alter essence or do anything with mutations.

There were pre-packaged examples of mutants to choose from but that was it. Is there anyway that anyone knows to alter essence or choose mutant powers? If so please let me know. I can always hand wave it but I'd like to have it right for my records.

I know of the rules in Running Wild, but my question is how to do that in Hero Lab?

Don't know how to make the program respond the way I want.
