(OOC: Hey we're up and there's a post. I should do the recap, but since I should get to bed soon I'm limited to dropping something quick for now. Well, and I guess unlike an IRL game that was delayed all the info is in the pages here. )

Some ork gangers with medkits finally arrive at the room Paul and Bongo are working on the injured in. They swoop in to start finishing up with the Orks on the ground there. They make enough noise that the gangers on the lower level finally notice somebody is in the room above.

"Hey! We could use a little help down here! Our shits all messed up, chummers too!"

From the entrance Bello yells "Help 'em out as soon as you can. Patch shit up too if you can. " He still doesn't sound so great, but at least he's mobile, trying to get some sheets hung up over the hole in this apartment as well.

The group then gets a ping on their comlinks as a reply from Jett comes to Bongo from his earlier message about the drones being a distraction.

<<Good call. Looks like you were right. Word is a spirit made a move in the north to get Monifa. Guess they didn't take into account the drek we're tough enough to live with the thing went down fast and you've already seen she's fine. Glad you were there in the South. Even a distraction can fuck a lot of shit up. >>

(OOC: So time could advance since the situation is stable. For balls in the air, Selena is with a drone in a park. However it seems to have just landed there on autopilot and shut down after it had to shut down all communications to deal with Angel and Lenny in their system. Angel did manage to get a trace on the drone operator. Wireless isn't so good for a precise location, but they have a specific building, and could start poking around in the matrix. Angel is starting that. Lenny also pointed out that if anybody has a good idea for an excuse to investigate a different floor, they might be able to help sell it. That's so the team could investigate the trademark flowers that Brewster believes would have been left by a spirit he's much more interested in than the rest of the job (which, of course, he's still interested in as much as any job).

Paul had also gotten some comcodes for weapons used by the dead runners he was investigating before all this started, some taken with them on the run and some that must be elsewhere.)
pbangarth
Bongo replies to Lenny's suggestion. <<Looks like Monifa's crew is taking care of medical issues here now. We could go down a level or two to see who we can help that way, and ask a few questions. Sound like a plan? >>
sunnyside
Lenny, still nursing his dumpshock, and generally feeling safer behind freezers even now that the shooting has stopped, gives a reply over the group coms.

<<Abeje said that the cloth flowers popping out of eyes happened on floors Forty Nine and Fifty Two. So that's a looong way from where we are. She offered to take us there, but a lot has happened since then. >>

From what he could hear, the firefight took place primarily on the 100th, but the outdoor VTOL drones also shot up the 99th floor, where the Orks under the trap door have been complaining, and also the 98th.
Koekepan
Paul records the codes for the weapons on hand, but then also adds the information to the team's records. After all, anything that might link back might be useful to somebody.

However, he has drones to monitor, and a car. Time to collate all the information that is available, and see whether everything is under control outside the building as inside.

Thanee
Selina zips back in an eye-blink, in order to fetch Fiona, who is still outside near their ride, so her ally can keep watch over the drone while she is getting the information back to the team.

After showing Fiona the location, she heads back towards her own body, she does not plan on staying long, just a moment to give the others some infos about the drone.

As her body stirs and she opens her eyes, Selina says: "I'm back, but only for a short while. Drone has landed in some park area a good distance away. Not sure why. I can probably destroy it, while it is just a sitting duck."
pbangarth
Willie pipes up. "Maybe if we checked out the drone ourselves, we could learn something. At the least, Lenny could take it over and make it his own."

He shouts down the hole, "You got any more action down there? We're on the way down to check things out. Monifa's people are staying up here."

That should let them know the team is not part of Monifa's crew.
Thanee
"Not sure, if I can bring it back. Not physically, myself. Fiona could carry it with some help, maybe. That thing is huge. But wouldn't the rigger still be able to control it, if it is not disabled?"
pbangarth
"I think the rigger dropped out of control to protect themselves," Willie says. "If they come back into the machine, they can be combatted, or maybe even located. Does that make sense, Lenny? Maybe if you and Angel team up on them?"
sunnyside
As Selina zips back and forth she doesn't notice anything that immediately sticks out in the astral, though astral space near where the drones attacked is still roiled from something happening in the astral there.

Paul starts to get things together. Doing a circuit with his van and drone, with a bit of distance from all the nervous trigger fingers bristling out of the building at the moment, everything looks to have settled down out there, and the gangers don't seem to have any targets. Folks on the street have moved to shelter, and grid guide is directing all traffic away from the building, so it's pretty easy to move around.

The building seems undamaged except for the south. From a distance, it doesn't look so bad, mostly because the black trellis is pretty much as intact as it was. Sections of it had already been partially removed before the team arrived, including the ones the drones came through those rooms before the team got there, presumably to improve the view from those balconies. The explosions didn't do a great deal of damage as the blast wave could move through the bars. Definitely some damage though.

Zooming in just a bit, Paul can see the blown out windows, walls, and doors in the two apartments on the 100th floor that the drones breached. The balcony is also blown out in the room below where Lenny and Selina's bodies are, if not always their consciousnesses.

In the other apartment on the 100th floor, zooming in more shows bullet holes on the 99th and 98th floor. Though those are harder to see and impossible to count with the trellises and gangers in the way.

Inside there are a number of things Paul is tracking. There are the firearms used by the team he performed autopsies on. Those are presumably scattered, along with the rest of their gear, around the building. But those should be traceable if they're powered on. There are also the weapons in their smartlinks subscription logs that weren't used on the day of the run.

Then there are the new arrivals from the drones. The VTOLS that came inside got wrecked and then suffered a hundred floor fall followed by fuel and internal grenade magazine detonations. (OOC: I don't think Paul knows it yet, but if he starts investigating he'd find there were two drones that exploded as if rigged to do so. If he looks down through the trap door into the 99th floor he could see the telltale signs of a detonation on the floor, which mostly opened up another hole to the 98th floor. The drone itself is mostly shrapnel, but the wreckage would indicate an explosive on the drone itself. )

That leaves the two small crawler drones and the two medium wheeled drones in the two apartments. They've been shot up, and smacked around, but might still have some parts.

Down in the trapdoor Willie gets a reply " Who the fuck are you and what are you don't if you aren't with Monifa's crew? Frag it, if you have a medkit you're a chummer. " Somebody else painfully groans. "You're also my chummer if you have any drugs. I'd snort anything right now!"

Lenny doesn't quite feel up to shouting so he stays on the comms. <<I'm pretty sure they shutdown all communications because they couldn't beat me. Maybe they detected Angel and realized there were two runners in their system. Either way they either had already programmed something into the autopilot or they did it just before shutting off the comms. I can't detect it in the matrix anymore. Maybe they didn't program it to head to their hideout in case that information was compromised? I guess it could be set to fully reboot and open up comms for them after a certain period of time, or maybe they've just ditched it like a fallen chick.

Like birds. They don't bring fallen chicks back to their nest if you touch them.

I think...I heard that somewhere. I guess I don't have birds, or any bird related experience.

Anyway maybe they just won't touch it anymore, or would be nervous about it. Maybe they'll send their own spirit to slag it.>>

Lenny leans back and starts beating himself up about how awkward that was, but tries to remember what his therapist said about finding the gratitude and tries to focus on appreciating that the gangers couldn't hear that...or see his experession now.
pbangarth
Willie responds inclusively to Lenny's message. <<Yeah, maybe just slag it then.>>

To the folks below he shouts, "Yeah, we got a medkit and can help a few. Some of us will come down shortly. Get your injured away from unstable places." To his teammates, "Sounds like we have a potential in for a couple of floors, anyway. It'll be a chance to look around." He taps Bongo on the shoulder, "C'mon, doc. Let's fix some broken people and take a gander around."

"Anybody else wanna come down a floor or two?"
sunnyside
Lenny replies <<Maybe. Though if I got ahold of it I could probably jack in to hack back in. Maybe a free drone? Though I'd always be worried about something lurking somewhere that might track it. >>

Bello overheards Willie. "Did you say "unstable places" What do you mean "unstable places?!?!?!" He comes over from adjusting the sheet concealing the inside of the apartment from the maintenance tower to the master bedroom with the trapdoor and looks down at the cratered floor below, the 98th floors master bedroom peeking through the damage.

"Oh fuck me! " He holds his hands on his head and paces, dropping his voice to not carry so much downstairs. " There's so much damage. The tower can screw us all if they want to. Project managed to have a little too much fun and cause too much damage. The maintenance tower can drop in SWAT teams or whatever if they want to across the bridges. But they just cut off the services. There are....I dunno a fragging lot of people in this building. Just screwing with the ventilation and cooling and backing up the plumbing turns things into a hell up here. I need to unfuck this. Maybe we can square some debts or unload some novacoke to get some interior walls from below. " he then starts screwing with his comlink.
Thanee
"So, what should we do with the drone then? Carrying that beast through half the city does not seem very feasible to me. Destroy or leave it there?"
pbangarth
Willie is a man of action and quick decisions. "Aww, just trash it and be done with it. Let's get on with the main job."
Thanee
Selina looks at Willlie in a let's-not-talk-about-our-actual-main-job-openly-here kinda way.

"Protecting Monifa and her crew is our main job. And removing some tools from the arsenal of whoever is behind the attacks clearly helps there. Alright."

[ Spoiler ]
sunnyside
(OOC: Just for expedience I'll say ahead that if Selina is heading back to the drone all is clear there at the moment. As for Willie, the guys below aren't verbally begging him to come down or anything, but the blast radius strong enough to damage the floor isn't that wide, and the Orks aren't that close to it. So he and Bongo could head down safely enough if they swing down gently and carefully....but roll if they feel like showing off.)
Koekepan
Paul manages to rouse himself from AR scanning long enough to add: ""Hey, if you want that drone trashed, maybe I could first yank out some of its control gear and see whether it can tell us anything. I have my toolkit, and I can probably lift or cut off useful chunks.""
Thanee
"Be my guest, but it is not exactly around the corner."

Selina describes where the drone is, roughly, to the best of her ability.
sunnyside
Almost absent mindedly, Paul could flick open grid guide. He'd be greeted with a host of warnings about driving near the building he's currently in, and some traffic alerts about nearby roads that are getting congested as a result. Still, he's near some major highways and a distance from the city center, so even having to go over or around rivers it's only a half hour to the cemetery.

Standard drone pics from the mapping software would show a mostly disused cemetery. Paul has been around the city long enough to know that only nicer places can actually be deserted. If it looks disused, it isn't deserted. Of course, probably just some punks that wouldn't be too much trouble for runners. It was dinner time when the team arrived at the building, but it's June, so there's still some daylight left.
Koekepan
Paul grunts to himself. ""Think I'll want somebody watching my back while I do this. Likely to be scavengers there already picking off bits, or interfering with me doing so. Maybe not worth the time.""

<<What's our priority? I can get there, but don't want to be unaccompanied. Do we need to stay here?>>
Thanee
"Fiona is there right now, and I will be there as well, albeit not physically present. But I can give you plenty protection still."
Koekepan
Paul looks up at this latest assurance.

<<Really? Wizzer! All right, I'm heading out right now and just try to keep the scavengers off it long enough for me to get there. Bound to be good stuff in there, if we just pick at it long enough.>>

Paul now turns into a dynamo of action. Disposable items? Quickly shoved into a pile - more debris won't matter, not here, not now. Durable? Quickly returned to his kits. A quick pat of his pockets to check that all the cargo is there, then he stands.

""Heading out, chummers. A little cleanup I got to get to. Scan you all later.""
Thanee
When everything is said, Selina will head back to the cemetery, waiting for Paul's arrival. Every now and then, while waiting, she will zip back to check on the status, though.
sunnyside
The folks in the building aren't feeling too much like more fight, so Paul finds he's able to move through it without all the hungry looks. The ride to the cemetery, aside from congestion, is relatively straightforward. The issue then is the woods. It isn't the Pine Barrens back there. But still, getting to the drone will be a couple hundred meters driving through the cemetery, and then another few hundred through the woods on an old dirt road that Gridguide refuses to acknowledge, but that Paul can see on the satellite photos. Then it's about another eighty meters from there on foot.

That's assuming Paul doesn't want to park somewhere more proper and hike it farther on foot. Then there's the matter of the drone being twenty feet off the ground in a tangle of branches and vines.

(OOC: I expect those to be things Paul can simply deal with. It's more about how much he's making this a complex military operation to safely retrieve the drone versus moving quickly before the drone's owners make their next move, if any. )
pbangarth
Willie goes down the hole to the next level first. It's a pretty easy climb and drop down for him.

[ Spoiler ]

"Toss down the medkit and then I'll help you down," he calls up to Bongo.

Bongo is miffed about the offer of help. "Really? What am I, an old man?" He climbs down.

[ Spoiler ]

He makes it as easily as Willie. "Old man. Huh."

"So," he looks around as he retrieves the medkit from Willie, "who needs some TLC?"

Willie unslings his SMG and covers Bongo's back. He too looks around, assessing the local situation.
Koekepan
Paul doesn't mind a hike, but he does mind making it difficult for himself to get support in the event that he needs it, and he also minds dragging back hundreds of pounds of metal and composites longer than he strictly needs to, so he will definitely drive in as far as the soil structure and arboriculture will let him. Having done that, he makes sure that his own armed drones are on, ready, and in the case of the daddylonglegs sniperbots, are parked on top of the van, looking out front and back.
sunnyside
Willie and Bongo get some smiles from the orks below for their athletic antics. To Bongo's question, one of the orks, in a voice he recognizes from the complaining earlier says, "It ain't nap time. So anybody on the floor wishes they felt good enough to stand up.

Looking around, the orks on this level don't seem to be wearing as much body armor as Monifa's crew. That didn't go over so well for them. There are bullet holes on this level in the walls, however it seems more common for the people in this room to have shrapnel wounds in their legs. One of the orks had his upper right leg impaled clean through by the clawed arm of a drone, with the claws acting a bit like a nasty arrowhead.

--------------------------------

With some creative backing and snapped underbrush, (OOC: two bought hits after turning the complaining Gridguide off) Paul is able to get within twenty feet of the drone. That also gets him off the road. He's pretty sure anybody that came through the cemetery now wouldn't be able to spot him. His van would even be hard to spot from above.

(OOC: For expedience Paul has a few minutes before ghouls start snooping around. They're coming from the opposite direction of Paul's van, from deeper into the woods as oppose to closer to the road. They're being a blend of sneaky and cautious. But even with some penalties for a background count of one and decent cover I expect between Paul, the drones, and Fiona somebody would reliably spot them before they got all too close so I'm willing to just drop this here. You could roll to see who spots them first if you'd like.)
Thanee
Paul has probably seen Fiona before. The black cat makes an effort to show herself and not freak him out by suddenly appearing.

"If you want that thing moved, I can probably move it. But you should make sure they cannot control it anymore."

Selina stays around in astral space and watching the area, her two bound spirits at her side.
Koekepan
Paul nods at the cat, and says: ""Thanks, kittenfriend. Dismantling its central functions is definitely job one, so I'll have a few drones up there doing all of that, and then we can see what falls down, and what I need to move. For right now, if it's all the same to you, I mostly need to make sure that nobody else comes for it, or me, while I'm working. Eyes, ears and smarts are the order of the day as far as I'm concerned.""

Having said that, he pulls out his presently undamaged soft drones, making sure to put a socket head and cutting tools on two of the flatworkers as well as sending up a couple of annelids to help with gripping and moving.
sunnyside
The soft drones are slow, but that gives Paul a little time to find a basic schematic. The battery bays for the main and backup batteries are quite accessible. So they should be able to get in quickly and disconnect them with a little directions.

(OOC: Ooop I just sat down and now have to run, but I'll post this, you already see the bit about the ghouls. Assuming the drones move about as quick as they can they'll deactivate the drone before it fires up.)
pbangarth
Bongo moves to the one with the drone claw impaling his leg. "I'll do what I can, here, but you're gonna need some serious medical care." He sets to work with the help of the medkit.

[ Spoiler ]

He manages to stanch the flow of blood, stabilizing the patient, but removing the device was a no go. "Yeah, this is gonna need a surgeon. At least you'll live till that."

He refreshes the medkit and moves on to others in need.

[ Spoiler ]

While Bongo does his thing, Willie asks around, "Where'd they come in on this level, and how many?"
sunnyside
There are four others with wounds that are still alive in this room, though none as visually dramatic. Though with the bullet holes in the walls, there probably are more elsewhere. A new Ork comes into the room, saying alright, I got a medkit, and he sets up on the Ork closest to the door. Judging by how much he's listening to the medkit give instructions, Bongo or Willie might guess he isn't so skilled himself, but moreso the medkit isn't as expensive of a model. Another second ork with medkit looks into the room, but then continues on towards the balcony.

And ork next to the one with the drone arm in his leg asks, "How are we supposed to get him to a doctor like this? And what doctor?" One of the ones who had been chattier earlier says, "We just lift him without bending the leg around too much. Just get some guys together and we'll get him down to the first level. They're the best in the building. The other chatty one reiterates that "Monifa better make the nuyen right after all this."

As the first gets some gangers together to heft the impaled Ork, the second takes a moment to reply to Willie. He says, "You talking bout the drones or Monifa's people? Just the one drone came in through the trap door they left open, and then it went off a soon as it hit the ground. Course we were also shooting at it. But one was just fucking taking potshots through here while floating around outside the building. Nobody was on the balcony to deal with it.
pbangarth
Once he finishes an injured person and the local medics start taking over, Bongo joins the conversation. "I hear this kind of drek has been happening more often lately. Any of that spill down onto your floors?"
sunnyside
The ork continues to look peeved and says, "Hell no. They've been spouting drek like "This is our business, you should mind your own." as if that shoutout with the runners on the stairs didn't see some poor unarmored folks catching lead when everyone is spraying bullets everywhere. They've gotten away with it so far because no gangers went down. "

"Well," he continues puffing up his armored chest, 'and because until now we hadn't gotten caught up in any of it."
Koekepan
Paul stays in his van after the release of the drones, just locking up and working electronically. The van itself and the daddy-long-guns drones on top provide a powerful set of surveillance capabilities while he can also direct the soft drones to grip pieces carefully and collaboratively open parts. If anything is too warped to come free, well, that's why other tool options exist.
Thanee
In the meantime, Selina and Fiona patrol the surrounding area, looking for any possible threats that might disturb their peaceful salvage operation.
sunnyside
As Fiona and Selina zip around in the astral, they quickly stumble upon a group of five ghouls advancing through the forest.

In the astral, everyone on both sides is a glowing entity in a mostly grey background.

Since Fiona and Selina are too far away to attack in melee, and they either don't have or don't want to use ranged magical attacks, the ghouls move to put cover between themselves. The trees might not imped movement like they do in the real world, but at least they block lone of sight.

At a minimum their ability to advance towards the drone seems to have been halted.

Back at the downed drones, Paul's own drones might have detected some distant noises. But nothing yet indicating anything that couldn't be some forest critter.

The soft drones are as slow as ever, but luckily they didn't have to go very far. Having landed in vines instead of ramming anything the drone is pretty intact. The armored cowling is intact and unwarped, which makes unscrewing and accessing the battery compartments relatively easy. The tangle of vines prevents properly opening them, but the little soft drones don't need much of a gap to work with. They are able to get inside and get the wires off the main and backup batteries. That should keep the drone from being able to activate.

It might also dump short term memory of the electronics. But more permanent memory should be fine.
pbangarth
Bongo replies, "Yeah, you gotta take care of your own. What went down here just now was pretty straightforward. We looked at some images of stuff that happened earlier. There was some weird stuff about flowers in bodies. You know anything about that drek?"
sunnyside
The Ork started off a bit indignant as he yells at Bongo, seeming to just want a reason to yell at somebody. "Drekking straightforward? Detonating drones dropping from the ceiling, getting sprayed by lead from the outside on the 99th floor? I heard about the flowers 'cause it was a little fucked up. But we've got a lotta whackjobs in the building. Word is those guys were losers rolling even bigger losers for their last nuyen. They just pissed off the wrong person. Happens all the time. Only difference is they found a weirdo instead of someone that would just shank them. In a month somebody will cut out somebodies teeth and we'll forget all about some stupid fucking flowers.

But this shit? We're not forgetting this. And you can go tell Monifa that when you're done here. "

He's squared off as if waiting for Bongo to escalate.
Thanee
While Selina is making sure, the ghouls are not circling around under the cover of the trees, Fiona checks back with Paul to see how things are going.

If he wants the drone (or parts of it) moved inside the truck (whatever is feasible), she can assist with her Levitate spell.

The ally spirit also lets him know about the pack of ghouls hiding in the trees. They might want to hurry a bit.
Koekepan
Paul does an assessment of what is recoverable, but also what is worth recovering. Intact weaponry? Probable. Sheet metal or plastic films? Probably not. Data storage? Definitely.
sunnyside
With the spirit looking at them, the Ghouls are clearly uneasy. They start off popping their heads out hoping she's gone. When she didn't go on her way they start moving back towards denser vegetation. Trying to generally not give Selina line of sight for very long.

The drone seems to be quite intact, with only cosmetic damage. As far as Paul can tell, if he hadn't disconnected the batteries then it would be ready to fire up it's engines and weapons. The only thing that would have kept it from flying off is it being tangled in vines and perhaps that one of Angel's sprites was watching for that hardware to come back online.
pbangarth
Willies metaphorical hackles rise at the posturing of the angry ork. There's a slight twitch in his left eye. But he has learned the value of letting Bongo do the talking. After all, the one talking usually draws the first fire.

Bongo raises open hands in the universal gesture of 'Take it easy, I'm not the one you are mad at.'

"Easy, man, I'm not the one you are mad at, and I and my team are here because Monifa is as mystified by these attacks as anyone else in this building." There's a useful tidbit for you.

"Our job is to figure out who is behind this shit and put an end to it. That'll be as good for you as for her. She hasn't been able to figure it out with her methods, so we are just exploring other possibilities. Outside of the box thinking, if you know what I mean. This attack is the latest in a bunch of attempts on her and her people. They're getting worse, and I and my team would like to put an end to them as fast as possible. Minimize the damage, collateral or otherwise.

"One of the things we want to check out is whether those 'whackjobs' you mentioned and the trouble they stirred up have anything to do with these recent attacks. I'm glad I could help patch up your people some. Any chance you could help us out with some info about those 'whackjobs' and what happened to them? Like, even, where we could go to check them out?"
Koekepan
Paul thinks hard for a moment. How much does he care about dismantling it, right here, right now?

Not much. Batteries out, it's doing nothing. This baby can be extracted. Easy answer will be to attach a tether to the tree, cut the greenery, and lower it down before preparing it for removal and then performing drone surgery at leisure. His own drones can easily cut the greenery and attach the tether, and he can winch it down that way.

<<OK, ma'am, I think that I can get it down intact and then make it spill all the secrets later. Mostly ropework, then some lifting. I can rig the ropes, and either do the lifting myself while you watch the ghouls, or we could split the work some other way. What's best for you?>>
sunnyside
The Ork kind of stares at Bongo after his speech. He tilts his body to the side and addresses Willie instead. "Collateral? Outside the box? Where did you find this normie? "

Still, at least Bongo's manner (OOC: able to easily buy 2 hits) seems to have diffused the tension, at least the ganger has switched from aggression to amused incredulity.

One of the orks trying to figure out how to move the guy with part of a drone through his leg says. "We're a lot higher up than everyone in the middle of the building. In every sense, you get me? We don't bother about them. The flower thing was freaky enough to get mouths wagging. If you want the chip truth you're gonna have to get on an elevator. "

He pauses to think a bit, "In case you don't know nothing, usually walking around with a picture and asking people about it ends really badly. Yeah? But I dunno if those guys were that tight with anybody. Nobody mentioned the crew they were with. Guess they mighta just stopped talking about it by the time they got to the 99th. "

A lightly wounded Ork up against a wall takes a sniff of something out of a plastic tube and dramatically adds, "Hey medic boy. I think I heard some squalling from the 98th floor. You can tell them we said maybe they've heard something way down there!" He laughs long and hard at his own joke. But it's infectious enough to get most of the other orcs to join in with at least a chuckle. Even if they're hurt.
pbangarth
Bongo nods and chuckles along with the 99th floor gang. No point taking offence. He messages the crew. <<Vague hint from the 99th floor to check out the 98th regarding our objective. Not a lot to go on. We might end up floor hopping. Willie and I can go down, or wait for the rest of you. What do you think? >>
pbangarth
Willie grins a big-toothed smile. "Nah, he's good. Pulled me outta some scrapes with his sunny disposition. And I just saw him take out a drone with a couple of throwing knives. Never seen that before."
sunnyside
The Ork looks skeptical about Willie's claim. But around here, you don't call someone not from your gang a liar unless you're willing to get the knives out over it.

Instead he says, "If you wanna see if the 98th needs help, there's a trapdoor in the kitchen. There's a carpet under a table. You go down by the elevator, they'll think you're some tourists to the floor trying to have a look see at bullet holes. But if you cause any shit down there you'll make us look bad, so if we hear any shots our shouting don't expect a warm reception back, much as we appreciate the patch job. Careful with the questions and don't go flashin photos."
pbangarth
Bongo catches the skepticism but doesn't bother to continue the claim. Not worth it here. Willie knows, and that's what matters. The more one's partner knows and trusts, the better the team. The less one's opposition knows, the easier it is to surprise them.

"Thanks for the directions and the advice. We really don't want trouble." He waits for a response from the rest of the team.
Thanee
When Paul signals, that the drone can be loaded, Fiona will simply levitate it with her spell. No ropes needed for that part, but they might still be useful to secure the cargo.

Selina, accompanied by her two spirits, keeps the ghouls away from the van. Their presence in the astral alone should take care of that. No need to push things further, as long as the ghouls take the hint and keep their distance.

[ Spoiler ]
sunnyside
(OOC: With drones to cut and magic to move, you can get that drone loaded into the back of the van, which Paul backed in, so it's facing the drone already.)

--------------

Over the coms Bongo gets a message from Lenny, <<Angel is obsessed with hacking around that building. I feel like drek and I guess I'm sorta guarding Selina here. According to gridguide Paul hasn't had nearly enough time to get to the cemetery, fiddle around for a while and get back. I think you two are on your own for now if you want to investigate. Not sure if that's easier to do sooner rather than later, but the event is still fresh and their might we wounded or something. If you wanted to come back here, the bodies Paul was dissecting are really starting to thaw out. It'd be cool if you wanted to deal with that. >>
