Hey everyone.

I was just wondering if someone could give me a run down on exactly how breaking through barriers work. In the book it states that certain types of attacks have the barrier ratings doubled against them, but the breaking through barriers table uses half the barrer rating to determine when the barrier is damaged.

Can anyone clarify this for me?

Standard Glass Windows Rt 2 vs EX rds in Hvy Pistol

Barrier doubled vs Bullets = 4
EX rounds Base power 11 to penetrate barrier (Victim soaks 7M)
EX Rounds base power 22 to destroy barrier--Barrier destroyed with 4.5 m hole

Armored Glass Rt 8 vs EX rds in Hvy Pistol

Barrier doubled vs Bullets = 16
EX rounds Base power 11 to penetrate barrier--Victim is fine--no penetration.
EX Rounds base power 22 to destroy barrier--Barrier rating reduced by 1. A Second shot will put a half-meter hole.
